Chalet vacation rentals in Annecy

Overall: Came for a winter skiing week with 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very satisfied with this very nice chalet -- but prepare yourself for some low ceilings. Pros: Larger than we were expecting. Split toilet and shower helps with larger group. Lots of places to dry your wet items. Area outside for kids to play in snow with toys and sled(ge)s available. Sheltered picnic table just outside the front door. Able to borrow a variety of cooking equipment for making local delicacies. Extremely helpful host. Beautiful interior and exterior. Cons: You WILL bump your head on the large ceiling joist over the beds in the 3-bed room. No matter how much you think you have learned where it is, you haven't. On the last day while packing achieved concussion level impact with this joist, despite a week of experience. Other low areas such as over stairs could be an issue for a taller person. Garage has limited space for accessing vehicle and we parked only half into the garage.

We had a very pleasant stay in Laurence's chalet. Ideally located on the slopes, start and return on skis. This location is for those looking for peace and proximity to nature. I warmly recommend this atypical place hoping to return.

Great getaway at Christine's house. You will be pampered every moment in almost every room with the fantastic views of Mont Blanc and other mountains. Ideal starting point for hiking or cycling trips. Even without snow sensational!

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. The Nordic bath is a plus. The nearby hikes are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

Very nice week stay in Michel's chalet, close to the Domaine du Grand Massif in 10 min, either by shuttle or by car with ample parking available (but paying without being excessive since this year), and a few hundred meters from the beginner Sixt slopes, perfect for introducing children. Regarding the chalet, everything is done by Michel for your comfort and welcome, the chalet is ideal for a family with 2 children who can have their own spaces in separate bedrooms. No wifi, no TV, but DVDs, games and reading for everyone, allow us to have a warm time. Don't hesitate to put your bags there, Go!

Met our expectations if not more! Everything we were looking for was there...calm and authenticity. Flawless accommodation, from the choice of decoration to cleanliness, not to mention the little extras that make the difference and the success of a stay. In short, nothing to say but "When are we going back?!" A big thank you Valerie for this little enchanting and rejuvenating break before tackling a new year!

We had a dreamy week at this cottage. The scenery is simply breathtaking, ideal for recharging and enjoying nature. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very cozy and perfectly equipped to meet all our needs. Fabienne is adorable, always available and very welcoming. A real haven of peace to which we hope to return very soon! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away and have a great experience for this vacation. Thanks again!

I thank Laurent for his great kindness. Our stay was really very pleasant in a beautiful setting. The cottage matches the photos and is very well-equipped. You will find everything you need to cook with all types of accessories and machines as well as a lot of equipment made available to make you feel at home. There are raclette machines and there are fondue machines. All linens are provided as well as towels. Laurent also allows us to come with our animals which is a great plus for this stay. I would totally recommend this place which allows us a total change of scenery. See you soon.

Good facilities, ample space for equipment and well furnished. Toilets and rooms were clean. Location is slightly far from town centre, but that also means peace and quiet at night.Capacity for both washer and dryer could be slightly bigger, given how accommodation is meant for 14 people .Jacuzzi was a bonus after a day of riding in the Alps.

Very large cottage at the foot of hiking trails. A quiet place, ideal to recharge your batteries. We were 8 adults and a baby, we could easily have been 2 more adults. The Jacuzzi is a real plus!

Beautiful stay in Delphine's chalet. Excellent communication and availability to meet all of our expectations. Very comfortable, great view, easy to access and 5" from the Princess's gondola. Ideal for families with children. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful chalet in a lovely location. Hosts responsive and helpful. Rooms and space perfect for our family holiday. Very clean and beautiful views. Only downside was the sauna only worked for us once, host was helpful and came To sort it but we couldn’t get it to work before or after this so only used it the once. A lovely stay would highly recommend and would love to return.

A quality home in an exceptional setting facing Mont Blanc. Adrien is available and self check-in / checkout is very convenient. We'll be back!

The chalet is very pleasant and large enough for 15 people. Balcony, terrace, tables are suitable as kitchen, dishes, etc.

As soon as we arrived Jérôme and Laëtitia were attentive and available to make it easy for us to access their accommodation despite a party in the village. The accommodation is well designed and well-equipped, bright and modern. The terrace is pleasant: shaded and wooded with a beautiful view while being located in the heart of the village. The location is ideal, you park the car and you can do anything on foot: walk to the village with shops and restaurants, hiking departures. We had a pleasant stay with our two children and we took full eyes, the landscapes are superb. We recommend it! Thanks to Jérôme and Laëtitia and happy hosting.

Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

We really enjoyed staying at the Chalet. We went skiing at Portes du Soleil which is a very large skiable area connecting 10 ski villages including 4 in Switzerland. The Ardent lift is just a few minutes drive down the road and you can buy lift tickets at the lift. If you don’t have a car or if you don’t want to drive it, there are free shuttle buses (at least in winter) that go around the area. And for sure to the Ardent lift(gondola). Lake Montroid is beautiful and the views don’t get old! The Chalet has great views. I used the sauna and even did a cold plunge in the fountain. It makes you feel alive. We ate at the restaurant at Hotel du Lac and had a delicious dinner. and we recommend going into Morzine and trying the French pastries at La Bonbonniere (a highly rated bakery) The hike up the mountain to the chalet does take effort, but it is worth it. I wasn’t looking forward to that hike after the second day of skiing, but other times were fine. A small waterfall is on the path.

The cottage is exceptional, very comfortable. We were greeted by Mrs. Bren who is a charming and friendly person. The only downside (and again) is that we came during the transitional season so few activities open at that time but it didn't spoil our pleasure. Anyway, I highly recommend it!!

Very good stay in a small Savoyard mazot, very peaceful and beautiful environment with a magnificent view, beautiful walks nearby. Everything you need for 2 people, with small balcony and table in the garden. We recommend!
