Monthly Rentals in Ancroft

The house was just right for the two of us. It was clean and tidy, with everything we needed, including a drawer full of tourist information leaflets. We loved the views along the coast, with lots of beach and both Lindisfarne and Bamburgh castles in the distance. We really enjoyed our first stay in Northumberland and would love to come back for a longer stay.

We did a long stay and we couldn’t be more pleased. Didn’t know much about area but we found the cutest village and lovely people in town. Just a short distance away we were able to visit York, Newcastle, Bamburgh, Chain bridge, Eyemouth, Paxton house and lots more. Berwick upon Tweed is filled with history and beautiful nature. We took long walks on the nature paths and also did the Berwick-Upon-Tweed walls. Lots of good coffee shops and amazing restaurants. Our hosts were super responsive and thoughtful. Train station literally around the corner and is your gateway to so many interesting places. Long or short stay you can’t go wrong.

Stayed 4 nights with my partner, two daughters and my parents. What an incredible place! We were all very impressed with the house, the garden and the surroundings. The house was well equipped with everything you could need and more. This house is an excellent place for days out and we had an great time. Highly recommend anybody to book this place 😊

We had a lovely time staying in this quaint cottage near Berwick Upon Tweed. The interior has been decorated in a lovely manner and the place is immaculately clean. We loved the basket of goodies which were there upon arrival. The cottage is near to local attractions and not far for a few nice beach walks. We had an extremely comfortable stay and would visit again!
