The Old School House is a treasure! Compact, clean and stylish. Everything you could wish for - and more. The sunny, private patio outside the french doors is an idyllic place for alfresco eating and enjoying not only the splendid countryside views but also the very pretty garden with beautiful and interesting plants. The hosts are friendly and congenial. Definitely a place to stay again.

Easy instructions to get in. Everything was provided that we needed. The house was very well presented, and easy to use. Ideal location for what we wanted, and easy for supplies (Tescos is very close by). Location was also nice and peaceful, with enough parking for two vehicles. Garden nice and secluded, with a nice patio area that gets the sun most of the day and into early evening. All in all we were very pleased with the accommodation.

Myself, my partner, our two children (7 & 10) and our dog have just returned from the Rowan Lodge, it's in a great location to explore the coast. We especially liked Appledore (The Beaver Inn pub is great, rock pooling at low tide) and Instow as it was perfect for the dog and kids alike. The kids did enjoy the 2p slot machines at Westward Ho too (good for an hour if the weather is bad!) The lodge itself is clean with amazing views and had everything we needed. Loved the quirky parts of the decor too. We stayed for 3 nights and would not hesitate to book here again for a short trip. Thank you to the hosts, Kevin and Tracy, who left some lovely treats on arrival.

You can tell that Debbie takes great pride in being a host of this lovely little slice of paradise. Very thoughtful touches here and there really made it welcoming. The cabin is beautiful, private and has everything that you need in such a small space. The hot tub works great and you can't beat the morning coffee. Plenty to do in the area, so you'll not be short of days out and when you get back, you'll be firing up the bbq and enjoying the tranquility. We stay in places like this all the time and private surroundings is one of our top things. I can confirm that Debbie's place comes out on top. Thanks once again and we'll see you again in the future!
