We were three generations staying at the house during Midsummer. Our overall reviews are: A genuine home and likewise the hosting. Everything you needed was in the kitchen and the rest of the house, and many nice details in the decor that created nice conversations about summers we had as children. Lovely outdoor environment for children to play and to enjoy the morning and evening sun. Comfortable beds. "You feel welcome here when things you might need are in place." Just the right distance to Astrid Lindgren's world - the rather hectic visit could be interrupted with Bengt's house in quiet Haddarp. We highly recommend Bengt and Haddarp 9!

We had some wonderful days in Eva's beautiful house, where we enjoyed the rural charm and tranquility. We walked to the nearby lake and swam, enjoyed the bright summer evenings in the lovely garden, where the children played soccer and swung while we adults enjoyed nature and had cozy moments indoors in the spacious and well-equipped house, where there was plenty of entertainment for all ages. In addition, we went on day trips to Astrid Lindgren's World, Kathultt and Bulderby, all of which were within a 25-minute drive. We were 10 people: two families with children with 4 children in total, as well as a set of grandparents and we had plenty of space! It was really nice that each family unit could have a large room with its own seating, where you could retreat when you needed peace ☺️

Amazing place to stay in Smaland. Lovely hosts, quiet and peaceful home. We would definitely come back.

We were guests at Villa Michel for 2 1/2 weeks to enjoy the nature & tranquility & to walk in Astrid Lindgren's footsteps. From the first moment, we were thrilled with what the vacation home has to offer. The parking space for the car is directly at the house, in the house a sweet surprise awaited us from our wonderful hosts (Andreas and Josef). The charm of the house, a mix of old elements & modern decor & technology, invites you to feel good. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking & baking hearts beat faster, because nothing is missing. In the large garden with its seating area & sun loungers, we could enjoy the Swedish sun & relax. In case of rain, you can relax in the cozy winter garden. The two bathrooms & all other rooms were extremely clean & well-maintained. The beds were comfortable & covered with damask linens (!). WiFi access is everywhere in the house. We recommended all friends to vacation in Villa Michel.
