Monthly Rentals in Ainthorpe

Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely area. At times we were a bit too warm and struggled to reduce the temperature of the central heating- but that was probably us not reading instructions correctly. We initially had a minor issue with the boiler making a strange noise but that was quickly and efficiently rectified out by Robert.

We absolutely loved our stay. Gaynor was an amazing host with great communication. I had made a misjudgement on my travel but Gaynor was flexible on check in. It was our first little holiday with our 8 month old and a travel cot was provided. Danby is a beautiful village. The bakery is literally on the doorstop and amazing

We spent three days in Helen’s lovely cottage for my husband’s birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The communication from the start was excellent, with detailed arrival instructions and flexible check-in. The cottage is well equipped with pretty much everything you need, masses of piping hot water for the shower, and lots of fuel for the fire. There was even a birthday cake - thanks again! Helen gave us some excellent suggestions for eating out (we went to The Eskdale, a 10 minute walk, superb) There are walks from the cottage or take a train and walk back along the Esk Valley Walk, really recommend. Overall a great place to spend a few days in!
