Eric is a very hospitable and thoughtful host. He’s very kind and showed us around Palekastro and gave us lots of recommendations for the area. The Red Door Corner is a very nice and beautiful tiny house that has everything you need with a personal touch that makes you instantly feel at home. It is in a great location in Palekastro and everything you need (especially great restaurants) is easily walkable. We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend Eric’s place to anyone looking for a stay in and around Palekastro.

The cottage has a rustic feel with all the modern conveniences. We wish we could have stayed longer.

A simply perfect place to stay for ferry travel as it is super close to the ferry port. I took a taxi from the ferry port and then realized that I could have easily walked and saved the 20 euros for the taxi ride! In fact, everything is within easy walking distance, and the price is also perfect!

Great stay in this extremely well-equipped little house: washing machine, microwave, percolator, toaster, oven, large refrigerator with freezer. All furnished in a modern and ergonomic way. Very comfortable bedding. Nice terrace sheltered from the sun. Very quiet place however 5 min walk to the village and its taverns. Authentic and welcoming village. Beach 2 km away. Recommended without hesitation for visiting the east of the island.
