We stayed in this cottage for 4 nights and everything went very smoothly. The accommodation is as advertised and for those who love cottages in the forest it's perfect! Re to Li [Building B] A special moment to unwind at a private inn

I stayed with six friends.There was a BBQ on the large grounds, and the house was very spacious and clean.There was no door, so even though we were in the loft on the second floor, we could hear the voices from the first floor, and we all had a pleasant time.The hospitality was also great, and thank you for your consideration!

I used it for a stay with a friend. The interior was very clean, and the water areas, especially the toilet, were well maintained. There were plenty of amenities, and I had a pleasant stay. The living and dining rooms are relaxing, and it is very comfortable to go out to the outdoor deck with a barrel sauna and bath. After having a light drink indoors, you can go outside and relax in the sauna, which is a good feeling because it is a natural flow of movement. It was very pleasant to sweat in the sauna and then feel the night breeze, and the atmosphere of the stream flowing in front of me helped to create a very relaxing environment. This time, I stayed here after eating out, but I thought it would be great to enjoy a barbecue next to this stream, so if I come to Kitaizawa again, I will have a barbecue next time. Thank you very much.

I really liked this place. Set on a small river, this recently renovated house has 2 bedrooms upstairs and the lounge/dining , kitchen, bathroom downstairs. I slept in the lounge/ dining in a futon on the tatami floor - classic Japanese style. You could hear the river flowing outside. Very peaceful. You really need a car and if you are staying here. Though there is a bus stop 20 metres away, however buses stop in the late afternoon (my daughter got caught 3 kms away at 6pm when the buses finished). A very picturesque area, rural, surrounded by mountains. There aren’t any restaurants or supermarkets/convenience stores or even vending machines in easy walking distance. Though the restaurants may have been closed as I was there out of season. If you want a chill place to stay in the mountains (and you have a car) then this is your place.
