Best view on the Lake! 500' of frontage out on a point. Private boat launch and dock site available. Covered deck to watch the sunset. Outdoor firepit, as well as indoor gas insert. Propane grill on site. Plenty of parking available. In the winter, ideal location for snowmobiling and ice-fishing. Right on to the lake and then 4 locations to get on local/ITS trails. Great fishing 200’ from the porch. Once the ice is out, hit the black crappie and Smallies from the convenience of a private launch

Life is better on the Pond!

Adventure awaits along the wooded trails and calm waters of Piper Pond. Swim, fish, kayak or just relax on the deck while enjoying the view, listening to loons and watching the wildlife pass by. Plenty of privacy with 300' of lakefront and a dock for water access. (Dock is removed in late August.) Build a campfire to roast s'mores, fire up the grill, or snuggle up in front of the fireplace. For indoor fun hang out in the pool room with tv, wet bar and pool table. The perfect Maine get-away!

*PET FRIENDLY* This unique getaway is a no fuss, no frills stay in the middle of the Maine Highlands. There is a large kitchen with a 36” gas stove and several walking trails on the property. It is close to the road yet sits on 13 acres including a pond. Wildlife sightings are commonplace and the house is only 10 minutes to Monson and 30 minutes to Greenville. Guests can easily access all of the amenities of The Moosehead lake region and snowmobile and ATV access are less than 1 mile away.

We are 20 min to the Moosehead region, 10 min to the Appalachian trail and the 100 mile wilderness trail head. There are many beautiful hikes, ponds, lakes, streams, ATV and snowmobile trails nearby to enjoy and the best part is coming back and unwinding to the rippling river, the crackling fire pit and the starlit skies.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.
