The place is very spacious although part of a home. I was happy there and got a good night's sleep after a long day of driving. My girlfriend noted some urban noise of kids running around and dogs. It was comfortable and there are some great places nearby with a car.

beautiful yurt and lovely host! very interesting, original and beautiful environment of the yurt and the nearby yard! amazing, rich and big breakfasts from domestic products. We recommend to try it out, the oven in the night yurt was a complete romance :)

We all had a lovely time staying at Natasja's house, the location was so peaceful and the children loved being around the sheep and goats. It was nicely furnished and remained blissfully cool in the hottest days thanks to the thick walls - having the pool to cool off in helped as well. We definitely recommend this to any families and will certainly return if we are in the area.

This place was very charming and was exactly how described in the photos. It had everything we needed and more. The only disadvantage is the remoteness or the area with some off roading to get there. I would come again. The surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful, perfect countryside to relax and forget about the hustle and bustle of a city life.

We had an amazing stay at Dušan’s guesthouse! The place was clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. Dušan was an excellent host, always available to answer questions and provide recommendations, making our stay even better. The location was perfect it was peaceful and quiet, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy stay.

The cottage is very cute and small, but nice. I would recommend it for 6-7 people maximum. The nature is absolutely stunning. Lots of hiking trails around the cottage. We loved the place and we would love to come back. There are few other cottages in the surrounding but if there are people who are quiet it is not disturbing at all. The forest is right behind the cottage. Communication with the owner was very pleasant. They were very helpful and very polite and kind. Many thanks for everything.

Tomas is a very friendly host, we had many nice talks about the farm and their future projects. The communication beforehand went also very smooth and he even welcomed us with a nice bottle of red wine. The caravan looks like in the photos, however some parts of it are falling apart a little bit. The fridge door fell out when we first opened it, and some cupboards are also worn out so if you don't expect it to be spotless, the caravan has a really cozy vibe, it has its own charm. The mornings outside were super nice, a unique experience to sit at the table and have a nice breakfast. Good to know that you need to bring up water from the bathroom, which is further away, but you have big water bottles for it. The water bottles were not so clean, so we rather took our personal ones for drinking. All in all, it's a super nice place if you like the camp and farm vibe! Thank you Tomas! See you next time!

The house is really nice. It's well equipped, has a big living room and kitchen. Beds are comfortable. It's located at the top of a hill and has a great view for two sides. The trampolin outside makes it perfect for children. Ivan is a great host - he was very helpful and responded quickly..

A two-story, clean, very private home behind the host’s home. Nice yard and patio for our extended family with kids. Comfortable beds. Renate was a welcoming host. We spoke English and she spoke Slovak, but used a translator app. Note: no air conditioning. We were there during a heat wave and it was hot.

We have lovely time, staying in villa in the forest (but you should mind moscitos and insects). There is a big living area and comfortable bedrooms, also nice big table and swings outside. The only downside was that we didn’t have mobile internet in the place l, but WiFi helped us. Another thing that we arrived on Sunday evening and the restaurant was already closed, but host helped us with finding a pizza delivery.

We chose to stay in the hobbit house primarily because we wanted to relax from the city and go to work somewhere in nature, but at the same time in a well-furnished space (the internet was important because of the work:) ) The hobbit house exceeded our expectations. The house is located right in the village, but you feel completely private. The exterior (garden) and interior of the house is modern, clean, practical (equipment, fast internet), but you have a sense of comfort and home in it. It is necessary to pinpoint the architecture of the house, which is really well thought out (e.g. natural light in the bathroom and bedroom) and you feel like you have transferred to Tolkien's Middle-earth.

Thank you for a great stay. The cottage is spacious, beautifully clean, perfectly furnished, the kitchen has above-standard amenities. Great communication with both the owner and his colleague, who welcomed us and didn't hesitate to meet our extra requirements as well. We'd love to come back:)

Great location in scenic and peaceful surroundings. The hosts were nice and welcoming, but the language barrier made it difficult to get properly known. The apartment was adequate for us, but some softer furniture to sit in at night, after the day's experiences, could be desirable. The hosts had an amazingly sweet and playful dog who was always ready. An idyllic and solid base for a holiday in the traditional Detva area. Thank you so much to the Hosts for everything - the place has given us the desire to come back again!
