Apartment vacation rentals in Zittau Mountains

We had a lovely time in Bad Schandau and Villa Monsei! We only found the associated parking space of the apartment difficult: this could only be reached via a bridge that was questionable in our eyes (with regard to "touching down"). We decided to park on the opposite side of the street. Otherwise, we had nothing to complain about and were super satisfied with the apartment, check-in was easy and there was everything you need for a relaxed stay in Saxon Switzerland 😇

Just the right thing for a three-person getaway! The apartment was very clean, well equipped and we were able to start in all directions with our hikes, from there. We felt very comfortable.

It was just right for our weekend getaway. Even for a whole week you have everything you need. The location was great, a lot was within walking distance. Good restaurants were also nearby. Communication with the hosts also went smoothly.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts Sabine and Arnold are really extremely friendly, reliable and helpful. The apartment offers a fantastic view and has its own large parking space – perfect if you arrive by car. The fully equipped kitchen left nothing to be desired, and the large, comfortable bed was very relaxing. There are good shopping opportunities nearby, everything is within easy reach. However, you should be mobile, as the path to the apartment is a little more challenging – you will be rewarded with absolute peace and nature. During our stay we had a small ant problem for a short time, but the hosts responded immediately and provided us with all the necessary materials to quickly solve the problem. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable and the hosts were very friendly. There are many hikes to start directly from the property and can recommend the property well.

The stay at this beautiful property was completely perfect. Andersen and his wife were great hosts who were very accommodating and always eager for a tip. Our apartment was super cozy, without unnecessary frills and yet tastefully and detailed furnishings. Overall, the whole property is incredibly well maintained, there were still many flowers and something to discover everywhere. The sauna was the cherry on the cream and we were happy to use the offer of homemade delicacies and treats. It was very clean throughout the house and the beds totally cozy. The surroundings were perfect for us who love the tranquility, the forest and mountains/climbing/crawling. We had a great time staying with you, thanks for everything!

The stay was very relaxing. Just switch off without internet deflection :) Very clean accommodation and you have everything you need. The host was very friendly and gave us good excursion tips for babies. There was even live music :D I would be happy to come back.

Great hosts. Very responsive and helpful with even ad hoc requests. Place situated in good distance for Prague visits (you can leave car at Cerny Most parking and travel with metro to old town). Really nice surroundings with a pond. Peaceful and quiet with even option to look at stars. Highly recommended.

The place was fine, everything you needed was available. The place was clean and ready. Communication with the owner was seamless. We rate the stay very positively and will be happy to come back to the place in the future.

We were allowed to spend 4 nights in the "small factor". The place is great and very tastefully decorated. Our check in was super straightforward. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is well equipped as well as clean with a great shower. The kitchen is functional, only when cooking it gets a little tight with a corresponding pot size on the induction hob at some point. But don't do anything, because the small brewery at the foot of the driveway makes delicious food at reasonable prices. All in all a clear recommendation.

We came to Wehlen to enjoy the nature parks and some peace and quiet, that worked out well! The house is incredibly spacious and has all the comforts. Especially in the colder months (we were there Dec ‘24) there are heaters everywhere, underfloor heating and a fireplace. The bathroom had a lovely shower with extra water jets and bathtub with jacuzzi stand. The kitchen was also full of conveniences, we cooked ourselves every night.

There were two of us in the accommodation with our dog. The apartment is totally cozily furnished, everything necessary is on site, a small balcony overlooking the river and a supermarket is within walking distance. We felt really comfortable. A guest book gives you a lot of tips for the area, whether it's excursions or restaurants. The communication was easy, you got a quick response to a question. The key handover was uncomplicated because all the information about the online guest book was provided. The place is definitely recommendable. 😇

There were only two of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable with so much space. The kitchen is super equipped and modern. The bathroom is functional and the shower works great. The beds were comfortable. The location is super central and at the same time quiet. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful old building. The floors could have been a little cleaner but otherwise everything was tip top and I would come back there.

Very great apartment, very large and perfectly equipped with two bathrooms. Super clean kitchen and everything you need. Even if there is no more space to park in the courtyard, there is a public parking space on the opposite side of the street.

Our stay in Großschönau was amazing. Bernd's place was the right choice for a long weekend away from the big city. The listing was cleaned, cosy and true to the pictures: we immediately felt home. The surroundings are fantastic and you find yourself not far from Säschsische Schweiz and Czech Republic is literally around te corner: you can easily reach Krasna Lipa in 20 minutes and enjoy delicious craft beers and hiking trails. Neighbors and people in general were friendly and always smiling. We appreciated Bernd's availability when it came to be flexible about check-in and check-out. Definitely a place to stay.

Amazing peaceful place! We had a great time, enjoyed the room, the hot tub and breakfast very much. The area around the Airbnb is quiet and very green. The hosts are very friendly. We definitely recommend it!

This stay was truly exceptional. A quiet and pleasant environment to relax, lots of places to go with even the possibility of borrowing bikes. When it comes to the accommodation directly,.. I have nothing to complain about, a bathing barrel, a sauna, the possibility of grilling - great! Projector for pleasantly spent evenings, perfect for a romantic and indulgent stay. I'm sure we'll be happy to come back and enjoy the same comfort here as we are now.
