Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

The multiple terraces provide breath taking views, perfect for enjoying both sunrise and sunset, while the private pool and gardens offer the ultimate space to unwind. There is a very special feature in this property that is a private access to the ocean. It gives you your own slice of paradise. The house is wonderfully private, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore Zanzibar’s many attractions. The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. Wow I don’t even know where to start! This was truly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in Zanzibar. As an Airbnb property this one completely exceeded my expectations. It offers amazing value for money.I had such a peaceful time watching the sunset and listening to the sound of the waves. As for the kids words can’t even describe it they had the time of their lives, especially enjoying the infinity pool. I only wish we had booked a longer stay, but unfortunately, it was time to head home. I will definitely be coming back to this home away from home. Having visited Zanzibar several times, I can confidently say that it’s hard to find a place like this near town with full AC, reliable WiFi, fully equipped kitchen. We even made lovely breakfasts for the kids. Bonus: it’s just 5 mins from the airport and only 15 mins to Stone Town. Truly worth every penny.And as for Mohammed what a kind gentleman. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I recommend this

We had an amazing time at Liza’s villa! It’s a very beautiful house, especially the pool area and the rooftop. Liza provided a lot of information about the house and the area beforehand, which was appreciated.

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

We loved loved loved our stay at Wakushi house. Rebecca and Amani were so helpful and sweet people to be around and their place is just amazing. It is simply beautiful and very airy which is important on such a hot island. But it was the little details that stood out- fresh flowers, self-colored towels and handmade soap (which you can also purchase as a souvenir). Rebecca was also super helpful to arrange some trips and even took me to her yoga class. This might have been my best Airbnb-find ever!

We stayed at Fumba town for 5 days and the place was brilliant. Thanks to our lovely host and area the place was worth it. Bathroom and rooms looked better than in the picture.

Wie waren aufgrund der aktuellsten eher schlechten Bewertung etwas skeptisch. Haben dann trotzdem gebucht, da wir ganz kurzfristig einchecken konnten und der Preis einfach super war. Welch Glück: es war definitiv die geräumigste und komfortabelste Unterkunft, die wir auf unserer Rundreise auf Sansibar hatten👍👍👍 Besonders das große Wohn-/Esszimmer war trotz der Hitze angenehm kühl und wir verbrachten dort bei starkem Regen einen gemütlichen Spieleabend. Dieses Zimmer ist das einzige des Hauses welches nur mit Metallmückenschutz und ohne Fensterscheiben ausgestattet ist. So geht durch die vielen Fenster immer ein angenehmer Luftzug. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Zoe was an amazing host and really helpful with providing recommendations on where to eat and what to see on the island. Zoe was also very quick with her responses which made our stay at Zanzibar stress free. The property was spacious, with the showers having good water pressure and the beds being covered in mosquito nets. We had rented a car and we were able to park the car safely inside the gate. Overall we would definitely recommend Zoe as a host and her property as a great place to stay!

We had a lovely stay at Miriam’s house, a well equipped kitchen and a grill, very quiet and peaceful area! Tausi helped us arrange seafood, and cleaning the house when needed. It has a a nice beach strip where you can also see some local fishermen fishing. We enjoyed our time there.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location is perfect — 10 min walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy morning walks by the water or sunset views. Despite being so conveniently situated, the area is peaceful and not too loud, allowing for a truly relaxing experience. The property itself is surrounded by beautiful nature, with a lovely garden. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, showing great attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. A special mention to Irina, who was incredibly friendly and always available for any questions or recommendations on local life. Her warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. The island is still developing and improving the electricity grid so occasional power outages shouldn’t come as surprise. Make sure to bring power banks and get an e sim so you can continue using your phone in such cases. Overall we had a great time and would absolutely stay here again!

My friends and I had a great short weekend at Sebastian and Nangula's home. The rooftop views were nothing short of breathtaking. The communication for check-in was awesome since we were a couple of hours later than expected. The beach was also just a short walk and allowed for nice walks in the morning.

für zanzibar ist diese Unterkunft Luxus. mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht . gibt immer warm Wasser sehr guter Wasserdruck, Klimaanlage. war sehr privat dennoch konnte man zu Fuß überall hin gelangen. die Leute dort sind sehr hilfsbereit und versuchen einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. war Klasse

Marram Villas, Nassier, and his amazing team rescued me from a nightmare stay that I had to leave after just one night. I lucked out and got a same day booking for Marram and was able to check in early. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such grace and hospitality, which is especially impressive as we were totally unexpected. I'm forever grateful to Nassier, Magaret, Anheta (I might have that wrong), and others for taking such good care of us. I honestly didn't want to leave. Nassier checked in often and was truly so kind. The breakfast was amazing and abundant and the dinner options were fantastic (especially the octopus) -- there was so much to choose from including local cuisine. The place is spacious, clean, smells amazing, and is so modern yet comfy. There is nothing that the host did not think about including a water cooler to refill water bottles. If ever I'm back in Zanzibar, I'll definitely stay at Marram Villas. I can't say enough nice things.

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

Me and my friends had such an amazing experience as our first time in zanzibar and staying at the waterfront staycation. The host Mundhir was the best!! He was so helpful and responsive and gave us everything we needed. His staff was amazing as well, the cook and our breakfast meals were always something to look forward to! From groceries and ordering food to even providing shisha and a trusted driver James! The accomodation was very comfortable and spacious and the pool was great. The only to keep in mind is that the area is secluded from the city but great for a relaxing staycation. Thank you so much to Mundhir and the team, wonderful experience and 10/10 would highly recommend!

Die Gastgeberin ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und kennt sich auf Sansibar bestens aus – egal ob Ausflüge, Restaurants oder Insider-Tipps, sie hatte immer die richtigen Empfehlungen parat. Man fühlt sich bei ihr wirklich bestens betreut und kann sich zu jeder Tageszeit mit Fragen an sie wenden. Die Wohnung selbst ist sauber, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders toll: In nur 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand. Wir kommen sicher wieder in eine der Wohnungen von Weyni.

This villa was amazing although my only complaint was the comfort of the beds mattress was a bit stiff and uncomfortable. Staff was really nice! Celebrated my birthday and they did an amazing job decorating! Thanks again!

Moudy ist ein großartiger Gastgeber, immer gut erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Shuttle von und zur Fähre hatte er von sich aus organisiert. Vielen Dank Moudy! Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet in einem großzügigen Garten mit viel Schatten. Es liegt im Dorf und nicht in einem abgetrennten Ressort, aber die Menschen sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sicher. Zum Strand sind es nur wenige Minuten. Es gibt zwar keine Klimaanlage, aber durch die offenen Fenster mit Moskitonetzen und die Ventilatoren, war es angenehm. Ein wunderschöner Ort, um Sansibar authentisch zu erleben!

Lovely home—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Great location and very comfortable stay. The host was kind and responsive. Only thing I would recommend is a sign because it was pretty hard for the taxi to find us. I’m already planning on coming back next year with my family hopefully this house is available!
