Vacation rentals in Zagarolo

We were coming to Luigia's for the second time. This place is a PARADISE: incredible view, a short distance from very beautiful hikes in the hinterland as well as the sites of Tivoli and Rome. The village that you reach on foot from the house is lively on summer evenings. The house is clean, quiet, very well maintained. The indoor and outdoor spaces are spacious and conducive to relaxation, including the beautiful swimming pool. Luigia and Armando's welcome is unparalleled. You feel good with them. Always ready to give tips for discovering the region. In short, a peaceful place and fabulous hosts!

This was the perfect stay for my daughter and I. We spent time here, in Frascati and Rome. Easy access to the train and was able to walk. The train is down hill and a bit of an uphill back but very doable. We were also able to get Taxi service to and from airport at a reasonable rate. Romina had great snacks in the fridge, plenty of coffee and the property was as described and very cozy. Plus the view was spectacular.

The best hosts we have seen in our 2 months experience of travelling across Europe. Felt right at home with the hospitality of the hosts. Very helpful and cooperative. The place is beautiful and peaceful

Had such a lovely stay. Beautiful quiet l place outside the city, close enough to explore towns nearby. Great getaway. Place was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and Francesca was lovely, giving great recommendations, very responsive host and always helpful

The house is at the very heart of Sermoneta - a beautiful & quaint historic village set high on a hillside. The house on the inside has been lovingly restored and is very comfortable. We loved the bedrooms and the bathrooms in particular. The kitchen/living room has all the amenities you could hope for except maybe a little more light is needed. The house is lit exclusively by lamps which are strategically placed - there is no ceiling lighting. Maybe it’s our age…but we found it hard to read the dials on the oven - particularly at night! The house is directly opposite the church and the bells ring each morning from 7:30 and then at every 15 mins thereafter. This didn’t bother us as we are early risers but not great if you want a lie in! We have just returned (12th Oct after a 4 day stay) and not all the restaurants were open and most were closed on Monday and Tuesday but we managed to eat well and the big supermarket isn’t that far for you to stock up. In all highly recommended

Gian Marco and his sister were wonderful people and their place was just as wonderful! Before even arriving, we were sent very helpful directions as well as an extensive list of things to see and places to eat in the beautiful nearby town of Tivoli. It was such a nice thing to do for us, as we would've been totally lost without his guidance. My husband and I mainly chose this place due to the proximity to Rome, and since we were on our honeymoon, it was our priority to be able to spend time there. Even though we had a car, Gian Marco let us know how much easier it would be to take the train. Boy, am I glad we did. It was so incredibly easy to access the train from Tivoli, it was only a 30 minute train ride and we were dropped right into the center of Rome. We were glad to have a peaceful place to stay away from the city, yet so easy to access nearby things to do. We hope to be back!!

We had a great time with Luigino and Giulio who guided us very effectively to the house, welcomed us on site, with very charming touches. The house is comfortable, well equipped. It has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. When it comes to restaurants in the neighborhood, book if you want to have lunch in Altipiani di Arcinazzo at the Sor Paiolo restaurant because we couldn't find a table, we fell down to another restaurant next door (Antica Osteria), complete too but where we had lunch well. The Sancamillo restaurant in Bellegra is huge, the classic kitchen, the quick service. Very likely if we are in a hurry;)! The location of the villa dei lilla allowed us to visit Rome, Tivoli and the villa d 'Este, the museum palace of Vamontone and its fabulous frescoes, Alatri, Olevano Romano, the very beautiful Anagni: a lot to do! The area is well-served. The accommodation has all the comforts and is cared for, cozy and full of particularity, you can see that there is love in what Marisa does. Thank you Marisa for all the attention you have given us, we will definitely be back.
