Wayne’s place is central to town & has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable & the breakfast & cooking supplies were very appreciated. It was also great to have ample bathroom & toilet paper supplied; which has been lacking in many of the Air bnbs we have stayed in. The kids loved having a TV each & enjoyed watching tv in bed 😂 They also loved running in the sprinkler in the back garden at the end of the day. I love old houses with a history & although the bathroom is a tad dated & some of the windows are a struggle to open, the charm of the house outweighs these problems in my opinion. Very happy with our stay 🙂

A must visit! The guest house is rustic and quaint. The standout experience was the farm tour. I am so thankful my boys got some insight ( as much as a 6 and 4 year old would appreciate ) of just how are running a farm is and I learnt a new found appreciation for ensuring we support local farmers! The home was tranquil!!! And Gordon and his wife had even put stuff for breakfast in the fridge and bought fresh bread and fruit - it was so lovely! To wake up in the morning to nothing but bird sounds and the wind in the trees was just absolutely fantastic! Gordon and his wife are great hosts. Thank you

Had a lovely stay at Oaktree Barn, well equipped and some well thought out welcoming gifts of chocolate and port awaited us on the table. The upstairs bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and heating and cooling options with a reverse cycle aircon. The bathroom and toilet are located next to the front door, and a visit from the bedroom means negotiating a rather steep spiral staircase, now sides for us but may be cause for concern after a few drinks or if the guests are elderly. Overall a pleasant experience, the hosts live next door and we were greeted on arrival after our self check in, One thing to note is that the door leading to the front garden from the main lounge room has no lock and can simply be opened , this maybe a security issue to some. Hopefully this will be resolved in the near future. Lastly beware of parking your car at the front door driveway as birds roost in the trees above making a real mess in only a short time.
