What a great place! We wanted quiet luxury and that’s exactly what we got. The cottage itself is a great size, very clean and everything you need to cook. Hot tub was a bonus. Make sure you give yourself time to light the log burner to heat it. The cottage is secluded and has 360 views of nature and wildlife. We sat with a glass of wine watching the hares in the fields adjacent. The grounds are very well maintained. The location was prefect with lots to do and see nearby. We walked to the local pub The Providence for Sunday lunch, which was great value and very tasty. This is a 25 minute walk, just enough time to walk off those Yorkshire puds! Being a keen runner the regular Saturday park run at Dalby Forrest is great. We were lucky to catch the famous Malton food market too! We will be recommending & definitely returning for a dose of nature and tranquility. Thank you 👌

Really lovely little cottage. Nicely done, with good style and feel to the space. Big comfy bed in the main bedroom. The underfloor heating was amazing, incredibly responsive to the control and really made the space feel warm. The hot tub was a real treat, took me a day to get used to it but was lovely and theatrical. Only criticism we had was the garden style furniture for the dining table, it wasn’t very ergonomic seating. But that really was a tiny fault in an otherwise lovely place.

We had a wonderful couple of nights at the Piggery. The hot tub was a great addition after a long day’s walk. We enjoyed the local Italian restaurant which was only 2 mins walk away. Andy was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. We would love to return and would definitely recommend!

I would highly recommend visiting The Old Potting Shed if you're heading to Yorkshire. Rachel & James thought of everything to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They realised we were visiting with three toddlers and so checked on our needs at the point of booking to ensure we had all we needed upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. It was clean, well equipped and situated in a stunning location. James popped in to introduce himself and check we had all we needed for our stay. Thank you Rachel and James for an enjoyable experience! We'd love stay again some time.

Gorgeous location, well kitted out and excellent finish throughout the house. Perfect location for both a chilled experience and close to lots of other great places.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Cat and Andy’s Shepherd Hut for two nights, and it was absolutely lovely. From the moment I booked it, Cat and Andy were very responsive and friendly. I made them aware that this trip would be a surprise for my partner and straight away they made me aware of various add on experiences/ ways they could help to make the stay extra special. The hut is very cosy and compact, having everything one needs for a short stay. No need to worry about being cold as the log burner will keep you warm and is easy to use. We loved the enclosed space where the hut is situated, providing your own outdoor area 🍃🪵 If you’re an animal lover, it’s an extra bonus being so close to the animals who are always happy for you to say hi 🐮🐐🐏. We recommend doing the meet and greet experience with Wonky, Roo and Dave where you can get to know their different personalities! We will definitely consider returning and maybe trying out the Gypsy Wagon in the summer. Thanks cat & An

A lovely place in a peaceful, quiet pretty village. Katie was very helpful and communicative and the accomodation was set in their beautiful garden. Thoroughly recommend.

Perfect stay at the perfect Home Could not ask for a better experience Spotless home, everything we needed was there. Local information came in really handy (especially the local dog friendly info ) 10 mins max walk to the city walls and free parking, saving us £50 against last time we stayed at a local hotel. Would definitely recommend 🙂

The accommodation was lovely and very homely. We felt very comfortable there and it was an ideal spot for walking into the city centre. The hosts were very helpful and proactive and enabled us to have a very pleasant experience.

Our second time staying at Jemma’s place, and just a good as it was before! Fab location to walk into York and near to plenty of options for food and drinks. Jemma is a great host - everything was as expected and makes for a comfortable stay 😊 I’m sure we’ll be back!

Perfect property & location as we were visiting family in Harrogate. The coach house is very spacious, clean and well equipped. Lovely welcome basket of goodies & bubbly. Annalisa very helpful with instructions and information of local eateries. Would definitely return. Gillian, Mark and woofies

This place was great to stay in. Yes the stairs are sketchy, but the rooms upstairs are amazing- especially the bathroom. Wasnt hard to find at all, I walked straight made a left and continued straight when coming back from town. It's pet friendly and my dog loved it, but if your dog loves getting on the future this might not be the place for you. Overall great place to stay and would recommend it

Judy was an excellent hoist who was extremely accommodating. We had initially booked for 3 months and Judy kindly booked it out on her side for a further 3 months if we were to need it. Due to our personal circumstances changing Judy allowed us to book out of the property following just one month of being there, no questions asked. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore. On top of her excellent hoisting the home is beautiful and in an excellent location if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway 😊 Thank you Judy your hospitality and understanding were very much appreciated.

Everything about the property was absolutely perfect. We stayed only for one night, but we hope to return and stay for longer. It was super cosy, lovely and warm, the most luxurious bathroom, comfy beds and super hot showers. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous from the outside, with lots of original features and character, but also with all the amenities and luxuries on top.

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

We stayed 2 weeks at west wing. The place was beautiful, very warm and loads of hot water. Plenty of wood for burner. Place was better than pictures. Peter lived next door. He was very amicable. He gave us space and privacy but was there if we needed him. There is an indoor heated pool. We would highly recommend for a relaxing time .

Myself and my two sons thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Angela's caravan. She was a wonderfully informative host and got back to me quickly with any queries during our stay. The place was lovely and clean and warm and the beds were very comfortable, we arrived a little later on but access was easy following Angelas clear instructions and it was nice being able to arrive in our own time. We enjoyed a relax with films on Amazon Prime Video after a fun filled day out at Stockeld Park which is relatively nearby. Overall I'd highly recommend 😃

If there was a six star rating then I would definitely pick that! Julian’s house is superb, we stayed for 4 nights after the new year as a family and have had the best time. The house is just beautiful in a gorgeous location and very spacious. There were 9 of us and 3 dogs all together and we had more than enough room. I would wholeheartedly recommend Foxhall farm along with Julian and Jolene who are great and very helpful. Thank you for fab holiday 🥰
