The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

It was originally a grist mill that used water from the west branch of the Little Conestoga Creek to power a wheel used to grind flour. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Welcome all nature lovers, hikers, hunters, and skiiers! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin next door to Pinchot Park, Ski Roundtop, and state gamelands. Just a short drive to all amenities in York and Harrisburg but you feel like you're in the woods away from it all. Wildlife is everywhere. We frequently see deer, turkey, and foxes. We are also pet friendly with a fenced in back acre. If you want to visit Gettysburg and Hershey, we are centrally located.
