Shaune and Danny were super host! They treat us like family. Cozy , super clean place, amazing view , great local town and it has everything you need to relax , cook , grill and unplug. Yet you can still check your email. My 3 Golden’s loved it and she was kind enough to let us have them! She left us the most delicious home mad jelly and dog treats. Recommend her place and other rentals 100% thank you! 🥰

We really enjoyed our stay at Justin’s cottage. The location is beautiful - very private and right on the water. Watching the sun rise every morning over the lake through the big windows was incredible. The house itself is lovely, with a great kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was a fantastic luxury. Justin was a very responsive host (even leaving us with local contacts when he was out of town), and we’re looking forward to coming back again soon!

It was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday weekend with a few friends! Right from the start we were made to feel welcome with a welcome basket with everything we needed for smores including fire starters and sticks in addition to nice handwritten note. We all loved the cottage inside with more than enough room for both kids and adults to relax or play games, sleep and eat supper. Outside was also great with the bbq, fire pit, propane fire table, especially at night with the amazing stars!), yard games and of course the beautiful lake especially with the leaves at this time of year! We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and a little swimming repeatedly including the last morning after the hosts graciously allowed us to check out a couple hour later! We, especially the kids, also enjoyed the visits from a very friendly pug the hosts had told us would likely drop by. All in all I highly recommend staying at Shore Thing Cottage! We will definitely consider coming back!

Would definitely stay here again! It was way better then I imagined. Loved waking up and sitting out in the porch in front of the water, and the water was warm! Easy access for kayaks and the house was cozy. We felt at home and didn't want to leave!

Excellent place to stay for a quiet and relaxing vacation! The house has everything you'd need, and the host had great welcoming touches, including fresh fruit at check-in. Clean, quiet, and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of coffee and enjoying the lake. Kayaks on-site make it super easy to pack and there are even varying sizes for kids to enjoy. Highly recommend if you're looking for a lakefront rental!

"Small Wonder Camp" on East Grand Lake

Our time at Small Wonder was nothing short of magical. This was a 25+ year trip in the making to Maine and we were so please. Traci has a beautiful camp that has all the amenities of home and beyond. It was well stocked with all that we needed and more and the property was better than any photo shown. We enjoyed the remoteness and the sense of a community within the area and would love to spend more time here and at East Grand Lake in the future. Thank you from our family to yours! From the moment we unlocked the door until we drove out the drive 7 days later we were extremely happy with our choice. The cleanliness of the cottage, the brightness of the rooms , the comfort of the beds, you couldn’t ask for anything more. The sunrises are breathtaking. The beach is beautiful, the peace and quiet is amazing. The kitchen had everything imaginable. The yard is huge, front and back. It was so dog friendly. There was even dog dishes at the front and back doors. We liked this place so much we have already booked it for next summer. My whole family gives this cottage and Marie a 5 Star rating all around. Jim and Gael are excellent hosts and we were grateful for the opportunity to live and share in a genuine and warm part of their family history. The house is charming, well cared for and full of personal touches. Nothing was overlooked and we had everything we needed for a comfortable and happy stay; beautiful lake views were an added bonus!

A wooden outdoor deck features a dining table accompanied by four chairs, surrounded by trees and greenery. Soft lighting is provided by hanging lanterns above, with glimpses of the Nashwaak River beyond. The tranquil setting encourages relaxation and outdoor meals.

Sarah's river oasis was absolutely incredible. The inside layout was open yet still private when you needed it to be. The outdoor area had comfortable furniture to sit or lay on every where you turned. From bbqs, to pizza ovens to air fryers, there wasn't anything missing when you needed to cook. There was an abundance of supplies offered such as toiletries, zip loc bags and condiments. The way she arranged this Airbnb leaves nothing to be desired. For any fisherman, this section of the St. John River has amazing fishing. Every day we took our boat out we caught something different such as chain pickerel, small mouth bass and huge yellow perch. Thank you for a very special vacation. We look forward to staying with you again!

This place is a hidden gem. It is so private. The water is Beautiful swimming water. Our dogs had the time of their lives & so did we. The cottage is on a very private road and extremely friendly neighbourhood. This cottage also having AC is a huge feature. It was a lovely stay. We saw loons, boats, jetskis, geese, we even saw a baby moose. This is the perfect spot for some NB country lake side living!
