An Oceanfront Retreat with Private Beach

We - a family of five, with two adults, two teenagers, and a kid - loved our stay in Casa Paz. When our car had climbed up the steep and bumpy track to the gate, and we had descended the stoned steps to the front door, and we faced the exquisite exterior and interior of the house - well, then we didn’t want to leave. The view from the balconies is breathtaking; the sea and the wind are ubiquitous; and every detail is carefully thought-out. We really hope this was not our first and only stay in Casa Paz, and nibbled chapulines repeatedly to increase the chances of coming back.;-)

Casa Isa, La Boquilla with the comforts of home

Casa Isa was beautiful. The house was clean and spacious. It was stocked with everything we needed. Amazing views of the ocean. Jorge our host was very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. He cooked a delicious mole dinner for us on our last night. The beach is easily accessible. We spent most of time at Playa La Boquilla a virgin beach down below. We had a lot of our meals at Bahia de la Luna hotel which is right in the beach. We highly recommend Casa Isa to anyone looking for peace and quiet away from all the tourist areas.

This place was a fantastic way to end our trip in Oaxaca. Peaceful, right by the ocean. You can swim and snorkel (they provide you with gear). It felt like we were in a tree house sleeping at night, bed was comfy and the hammock is amazing on the patio “which is huge”. A little private sanctuary!

Spectacular view with all the amenities. Wifi and air conditioning worked excellently. Within walking distance of beaches, restaurants and bars. Host is very kind, communicative and goes out of his way to help. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment above Zipolite. The room is very nicely decorated and has an incredible view from the balcony where you can enjoy the sunset. Communication with Melissa/Juliana was really easy and friendly. She cared really much and we got a lot of advices. We can definitely recommend staying there and will come back one day :)

What a wonderful experience our stay at Casa Sapo was. This is a very special place. The architecture/construction is amazing, the natural setting so beautiful. Staying here is truly an immersive experience. Being the dry season, there were not nearly as many insects as I thought there would be, and the house was cool and comfortable at night and in the mornings. We came prepared with repellent for mosquitos (there were quite a few) but outside of a scorpion in the corner of one of the bedroom ceilings, there was less to worry about than I had anticipated. We had strong swell, so I will mention that the sound is very, very loud, as the concrete structure serves as an amphitheater for the sound of the waves. This kept us awake for the first night, however by the second and third night we had grown accustomed to it and it was fine. Mario was responsive and communicative the entire time, willing to check us in a couple of hours early. Maria is a delight. Lovely stay.

It was a very pleasant experience, despite being shared spaces there is privacy. The landscapes you can find are beautiful and the breathing and yoga classes help a lot to connect with yourself. Johanna and Isaias were always very friendly, as were the other guests.

A very nice and quiet place, a short walk to the beach and literally on the main street. The apartment was comfortable and clean, and everyone who works here is very friendly. Definitely would love to go back!

We loved our stay here so much! The place was incredibly beautiful - natural stone, bamboo, and wood. We loved the view from our patio where we spent many hours enjoying the breeze and listening to the waves. We enjoyed the option of having the shared kitchen to cook in and it was well equipped for easy use. It was also nice that Leire always had hibiscus and lemongrass water freshly made in the fridge. She was so welcoming and helpful, giving us tips and helping us to arrange any needed travel. There were many stairs up to the place so if one had any health concerns, this might be a challenge for them. However, it wasn't a problem for us and the benefit of it was the lovely breeze being up high, the peace and quiet being away from everything, as well as the stunning views. Would definitely return!
