My stay at Hideki and Yuko's countryside retreat was wonderful. As a city person, I was looking for a peaceful break, and this place was perfect. The beautiful, quiet setting was a great escape from the busy city life. Waking up to the fresh country air and gentle tree sounds was so nice. Breakfast each morning around 9 am was a highlight. The simple, tasty vegetable dishes and Japanese pickles were not only healthy but also showed the hosts' cooking skills. I also had their home-cooked dinner, which I really recommend trying. The property has a rich history, and I enjoyed staying there a lot. It got a bit chilly sometimes due to drafty windows, but the heaters kept me comfortable. I left feeling refreshed and grateful to experience real rural Japanese life. I look forward to visiting again in a different season, as I'm sure it's lovely year-round. Thank you, Hideki and Yuko, for sharing your amazing place, your warmth and hospitality made this a stay to remember.

We spent 2 wonderful days up in the mountains, walking in the nature, listening to the birds and resting. Meeting with other guests was a lot of fun but it was Jiro and Chai who brought life to this special place. If you love being far from the city to experience Japanese rural life with kind hosts, you’ve come to the right place.

Mitsuki's home is as presented in the photos, beautiful, elegant, very traditional Japanese house and interiors.At the same time there is also modern heating completely so the cold winter can also have peace of mind.The host carefully prepared the welcoming teas and refreshments that made us feel at home, the toiletries and bedding she chose were also very tasteful, and the house was thoughtfully designed from the inside and out, which was surprising.Mizuki was also very friendly, and on the day we checked in she helped book an artistic restaurant nearby and we had an unforgettable dinner.It was such a wonderful stay!Will definitely come back again!Thank you for the hospitality!❤️

A truly special visit! Felt right at home. Takamichi is a great host! He made me breakfast for my 2 night stay. He took me to restaurants at night and to an onsen bath. He even took me to buy new shoes since I had no car! He also let me take a bicycle anywhere I liked which was just what I needed! If you are looking for a beautiful home and a caring host, this is the place to go! 100% recommended! Will be back in my next trip to Japan for sure!
