Could not have asked for a better stay - set in the most idyllic surroundings imaginable, Veronica has created a beautiful little haven, just perfect for escaping the busyness of life! The garden is absolutely stunning and the most beautiful backdrop for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine! The annexe has everything you could need, all immaculately clean and beautifully presented. I cannot do justice to the wonderful sleep we had in the (enormous!) sumptuous bed! Veronica was so helpful and thoughtful, sending local information and recommendations. Highly recommend this delightful little hideaway!

Spent a fantastic long weekend (fri to mon) celebrating my 50th birthday, 12 girls in total. House and location were fantastic! very spacious and sociable spaces. Everything was extremely clean, and we'll maintained. The large hot tub was brilliant. Andrew was very friendly, on hand if we needed anything, but also left us alone to enjoy our time there. We were lucky to have lovely weather, so enjoyed relaxing in the spacious garden. Would definately recommend, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

A Perfectly Unusual Gem of a Stay We had the most wonderful time at this unique and charming Airbnb. The property itself is full of character and unlike anywhere we’ve stayed before—unusual in the best possible way! The facilities were excellent, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The location was ideal, offering peaceful riverside walks right on the doorstep—perfect for our dogs, who also adored the spectacularly large garden. It really made the stay extra special for them (and us). Cressida was a fantastic host—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Her communication was clear and detailed throughout, which made everything smooth and stress-free from start to finish. We loved every minute and would happily return. Thank you, Cressida, for a truly memorable stay!

This is such a beautiful property which is kept to a great standard. The veranda overlooks a beautiful garden and is so peaceful. The beds are really comfy, kitchen is really well equipped and the bathroom has powerful hot shower. The hosts were really friendly and easy to contact. If you stay here the Chequers pub nearby is definitely worth a visit, great food and cocktails! Cannot fault this property or the hosts and would love to stay again!

Highly recommended. A fabulous spacious house, full of character and charm with beautiful mature gardens. Top quality furniture and fittings and very well equipped. It was perfect for our 4 generational holiday. The Royal Sandringham Estate and the Watatunga Wildlife Reserve are both only a short drive away. Catherine was a pleasure to deal with and always replied promptly. Thank you for the welcome treats. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a short stay while I was visiting family in Rutland. This home was very spacious for a cottage and was very well equipped - especially the kitchen. The Fox pub was 5 minutes walk away, super-friendly and able to provide a meal for 5 at short notice. This was just an overnight stay for us but we would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended.

This gorgeous cottage is a fabulous place to stay if you're visiting Newark or the surrounding areas. Set in the heart.of Newark town centre, it's incredibly close to all the amenities including shops, restaurants, castle and market place which is just a 5 minute walk away, yet it is still very peaceful. Beautifully decorated and very spacious, with a terrific bathroom with a large shower with rainfall shower head, it is incredibly comfortable and has a lovely atmosphere. We have stayed twice already and have booked again for a future event. Dale the host, is very helpful and friendly and always trys to accommodate your requests. We can't recommend this cottage highly enough 😊

Can only reiterate previous reviews. The apartment is right in the middle of things, everything is a step away. The living room and main bedroom get traffic noise, but you soon get used to it and you are right in the middle of things. The weather was glorious and we spent quite a bit of time sitting in the garden, it's so peaceful there, you would not believe you are a stones throw from the high street. Wifi and TV are excellent. We didn't park the car on the driveway as my husband can't reverse to save his life. We parked in Sainsburys car park, which is only a 2 minute walk away, it is only £4.50 per 24 hours with Horizon parking app. Sleaford is a nice little town for a walk round and it's a good base for touring Lincoln, the Wolds etc. Peta is a very approachable and helpful host. All in all this is an excellent apartment and we would hope to book again in the future

Chose this place slightly randomly but am so pleased we did! Perfect location minutes from the castle and cathedral and lots of lovely places to eat with an amazing view. Had everything we needed and the bed in particular was exceptional- big, comfortable with lovely bed linen. Often that’s the bit that can let a place down but not in this property. Lincoln is a brilliant place for a weekend visit- so much to see and do. And our sons jumped on a train from London and joined us for the day too as an added bonus! We took the free walking tour which set us up well but I hadn’t imagined there’d be so many lovely shops and art galleries too. Plus live music and theatre and cinema and of course the beautiful music at the cathedral (I went to choral evensong) Thank you Valerie- will be recommending to everyone!

A very nice flat in a quiet location. Clean, fresh and well equipped. Everything worked as expected. The internet was very stable and fast enough for my easy tasks such as reading documents and messaging. Would definitively stay again.

Great location in a pretty and peaceful village. Provided a much needed relaxing break. Enjoyed the nearby walk accessed through the church yard with the view of the countryside beyond. Clock Cottage is a well thought out property. Open plan, providing comfort and calm. All essentials plus added extras; the luxury of the rolled top bath & bath robes, a welcoming box of treats & drinks. Fairy Lights added a cosy glow above the bifold doors at night. There's also a great spacious bathroom with a fab shower. Can easily divert between the rainfall and hand shower heads, with plenty of hot water. Loved the beautiful garden and patio area. Private access from on street parking right outside through a separate gate with stones and level paving leading to the bifold doors. Established beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers edge the property and grounds with a lovely large lawn to enjoy in the sunshine. My dog did! Rutland Water is a short drive away. Will return to explore more.

Small and perfectly formed! They left breakfast and milk for us, and the place was spotless. Beautiful rural location. They let me charge my electric car for a small extra fee which was much appreciated. This m you very much!

Wow! Gil and Philip have created a magical experience that went far beyond our expectations. The lit log wood burner on our arrival was very welcome, the animals very friendly and the added extra treats really excelled. We loved our stay and would highly recommend, whether with children, friends, or as a romantic break.

Had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful place, sad to he home. the apartment was lovely and very homely with everything you need and more, Its a nice short walk into the town centre, the area is so peaceful and calming and everyone is so friendly, lots of nice walks close by for the doggies. The hosts have put alot of effort into creating a welcome pack to help you get to know the area and what's close by. Thank you so much would 100% recommend

Easy to find and gain entry. The room was clean, tidy and perfect for a short stay with just about everything you needed including cooking oil, herbs, salt and pepper. There was a Morrisons nearby within walking distance. There's a nature reserve within a couple of minutes walk and red kites fly low over the rooftops. The room was convenient for a visit to an old workmate in Market Harborough and a day out at Rutland Water. Didn't venture into Corby itself so can't comment but there's a bus stop very close by. Would book again if ever in the area.

Aiden’s apartment was spotless, & like other visitors who stayed,lovely smell as you enter the front door. There is everything you need to eat in, if not there are places within mins away & a Tesco 2 mins away - walking I did contact Aidan & wow he was very quick at replying. Great place, you will not be disappointed, will defo return Oh & not to forget a bottle of wine was left - lovely though Thank you

Well appointed apartment, both bedrooms with en suite. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. We stayed during the school holidays and it was relatively peaceful with only a few people walking past. Street parking was always available outside.

Sue (host) went above and beyond in so many ways. We’ve stayed in many Airbnb places and this really was a place where everything had been thought about. This included goodies for breakfast, a huge range of teas, coffee maker (with pods ), a bottle of wine, huge yummy biscuits etc etc etc. The kitchen was VERY well equipped- couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t there! All very much appreciated. Also other simple things like plenty of sockets for charging, drying hair etc in convenient places!!! Towels and bedding good quality and lovely toiletries. Everywhere was very clean and tastefully decorated. The annex is attached to the host’s house but is very private and easily accessible, she even let us park on the drive. The annex is about 20 minutes walk to the amenities, which we did quite easily. Sue was always very responsive to any communication. Incredibly helpful indeed. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

We stayed at this house as an opportunity to meet up with friends at short notice. The host was extremely helpful from the moment we booked, super responsive, answering all of my questions, provided good recommendations for food and drink locally and the house was clean and well presented. It was the perfect place to have a catch up with friends, super chilled, ample parking and a 10 minute walk into the town. Would highly recommend. Thank you 😊

We stayed at Les’s property a week ago, and loved it so much that we changed our travel plans and booked a few more nights at the end of our travels. It’s such a beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and warm space, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. If you’re anywhere in the area, this is definitely the place to stay. I’d even suggest finding a way to go through the area to take advantage of their great space!
