“Ricardo’s place was absolutely perfect. Aside from the amazing backyard view, the apartment was spacious, clean and conveniently located near downtown, restaurants, and shopping centers. Ricardo was a welcoming host who was very attentive to our needs and look forward to staying again in the future.”

“Well appointed place was perfect for a stay-cation. We hung out the most in the TV room, watching Netflix and playing board games. The kitchen was lovely and had what we needed to cook. Close to shops even though we did not take advantage of that. We did however go to the state park close by which we and the dogs enjoyed. They appreciated the deck and backyard as well.”

“Wonderful and quaint New England house with a kind, accommodating, and welcoming host. The walk to Yale and downtown New Haven is easy and short, and the security of the house made me (a single woman traveling alone) feel very safe and comfortable. The house is laid out similarly a very nice student hostel, with common areas and bathrooms, but private and secure rooms for individual guests, each with a name, theme, comfortable beds and ample storage. There is access to laundry/iron, kitchen, and living spaces, great internet, and Aly was kind enough to let me use the printer as well. The posting is honest about it being a shared home with no frills, so don’t expect a pristine and untouched 5star hotel, but a well-loved and lived in space that is safe, comfortable, and budget-friendly. I don’t normally leave reviews but really enjoyed my experience and hope to come back on my next trip to New Haven!”
