Beautiful cottage that was decorated to a really high spec. Perfect location for a visit to Durham uni. If my son decides Durham is for him we would definitely stay again

We had a wonderful stay at Howee Inn. It’s small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed for one night. Pamela was really friendly and provided clear instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. We were left bread, milk, eggs and butter which was a lovely touch that we enjoyed for breakfast. The local area is lovely too, and we would recommend the local pub for dinner.

Highly recommend Gladys’s beautiful place with amazing spacious private and secure garden. Great communication from directions to check in and Ideal for children and pets safety. Simply wonderful and unique garden/outbuildings and landscaping created over many years by Gladys and her extremely talented husband Kenny. The accommodation was wonderful with everything you need with bright and panoramic views from every aspect of the beautiful outside space. We loved our stay and hope to return very soon!:)
