Farmstay vacation rentals in Wisconsin River

We were in the area with a large group that was camping at a private campground nearby. This house was a great option for the couple of us who wanted a bed for the nights and a shower. We didn’t spend a lot of the time at the house but it was a peaceful location. If we weren’t meeting up with guests offsite, I would have loved to explore the grounds. It’s a little tucked away. The host sent detailed instructions which made it easy to find. I often camp in the area, but if I needed a non-camping option in the future, I’d be happy to stay here again.

The house was very spacious for our family of 6. We loved the location, view, and short drive to everything we wanted to do.

Very comfortable stay, warmed by gas stove fire- a great place to put boots near and coffee mug to stay warm. Absolutely beautiful location, lovely view of the animals from large back door, and a welcoming host!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the loft. Very clean and exactly as described. Loved reading a good book by the fire. Bed was comfy. Very quiet and peaceful.

Amazing accommodations for a peaceful weekend getaway to relax and rejuvenate. It was centrally located so we could explore LaCrosse and Viroqua, but had just as much fun enjoying the comfortable cabin and beautiful views. Without being cluttered the cabin was thoughtfully furnished and equipped. We were especially surprised to be treated to a dozen farm fresh eggs, maple glazed cinnamon rolls, and a loaf of fresh baked bread. The water from the faucet was delicious. Cashton has a nice little grocery store to find last minute items. We explored Wildcat State Park on the way out of town and would love to come back to do some kayaking on the Kickapoo River.

Everything was clean and functioned well! Enjoyed the setting. I wouldn’t change anything. I would come back! Kayne

Great place and spot, regardless of the time of the year. Very accommodating hosts. So many things to do on location as well as a lot of hiking spots nearby. The place has a lot of character, can't say that about every AirBnB I've been to. Hope to be back again.

We had a wonderful weekend. We hosted our son and new daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at the barn Friday night. It was the perfect setting. The bride and her bridesmaids stayed Friday night and got ready for the wedding at the barn. They all had the best time! Your place is absolutely beautiful! Everyone loved it!!

The Goodly Farm is an oasis. We had a wonderful time letting our worries melt away. There are so many beautiful little spots you can curl up with a book inside or outside. And if you enjoy farm animals, Poncho, Banjo, and Mrs. Murphy will show you a good time.

This was my third stay at Leah’s and it continued to not disappoint! Her place is very clean, well-stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies and towels, and many comfortable beds. The house gets a lot of light and located on a walkable and quiet country road. Highly recommended!!

The farmhouse is tidy and uncluttered. There is a very big front yard for fetch with a dog or for children to run around in, and a rural road out front for long walks. This is a great stopover if you are travelling with children, or with a dog as I was.

What a special home and property for a weekend getaway! This rental is perfectly curated to feel like your own little cabin in the woods - the decor, finishings, and amenities really makes it feel like home. We also appreciated how clean and well-kept the property is; it is clear that the owners put a great deal of care and love into this home. Between the many trails on the property and both hiking/skiing just a quick drive away, this rental is perfect for those wanting to escape city life and enjoy the great outdoors. We cannot recommend this property enough! Our entire group was in agreement that this is one of the best AirBNB properties we have ever stayed at.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin itself is wonderfully cozy, with seasonal décor and lovely views of the surrounding woods. While the cabin itself feels secluded and private, downtown Viroqua is only a few minutes’ drive, and has some great restaurants and tap rooms. Our hosts provided plenty of suggestions for restaurants and shops, though most of the time we were quite happy sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee (all the better to enjoy the recent snowfall with). Overall a great weekend.

We had a wonderful time at Tom and Julie's home. Everything was just as described, and Tom and Julie were very responsive.

We had another great stay at the Tomorrow River Homestead! Everything was great and such a big place, room enough for all of us. The goats always greeted us on our way to the car which was great. Thanks again and we cant wait until we stay here again.
