The Farmhouse

LibbyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Peak District Manor: Pool + Hot Tub + Fire Pit

StephanieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Haddon Grove Farmhouse - with pool & lots of heart

OliverRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.
An indoor swimming pool with a gentle curve and a clear blue surface reflects the surrounding light. Lounge chairs are positioned nearby, and plants are placed in the corners, contributing to a serene atmosphere. Soft lighting illuminates the spacious area.

The Manor House

EiraRating, 5 stars37 months ago
What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.
A quaint courtyard is visible, featuring a wooden table set with a bowl of mixed fruits and drinks. Green doors frame the stone building, while potted plants add greenery to the gravel area. Wicker chairs provide seating options around the table.

Badgers Wood

JackRating, 5 stars45 months ago
Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Sleeps 5 Stoke on Trent Alton Towers Peak District

PaulaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed one night at Pam's home for a girls trip to the Potteries. Pam was a very responsive host, answering all our questions and ensuring easy entry to the house. The house was spotlessly clean with modern comfortable furniture and fittings. the bathroom had a bath and shower and plenty of hot water for the 4 of us to have a bath or shower this morning. There were plenty of towels for all of us and the bedrooms all had clean bedding. It was a quiet street and having the driveway to park the car on was very helpful. We would happily stay here again, and I highly recommend Pam's house as a place to stay for the Potteties or Alton Towers. everything was very close by.

KentonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was perfect for our weekend away celebrating a friend's upcoming marriage. Great location for climbing in the Roaches and a short taxi ride to Buxton for eating out and drinks. The BBQ was a great bonus (despite the rain) for us to make the most of the spacious accommodation one of the nights. Check in was super convenient so we could do it at a time which suited our plans. Thank you

Quiet 3 bedroom house. Free parking & WiFi

GillianRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Absolutely fabulous hosts. I booked accommodation on behalf of a team who were working at the County Showground rather than staying myself. Simon and Dearbhla were both very easy to deal with and most helpful when one of the party departed and leaving his clothes in the wardrobe! The property was just perfect and the guests I sent there were more than happy. Will certainly look to using again in the future. Thank you for being so incredibly communicative and helpful, much appreciated.

Luxurious five bedroom barn-style retreat.

PippaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Family reunion over a long weekend. House was ideal for our needs (4 adult couples+one single adult). The layout is very convivial but affords lots of privacy for sleeping/showering. We made abundant use of the outdoor seating plus the gas barbecue. Area is great for walking, National Trust properties etc. No shops in Osgathorpe itself but an easy 10 minute drive to nearest supermarket. Walkable foodie pub about half an hour away over fields. House is very new, clean and well equipped. Stunning floor to ceiling windows and doors let in beautiful light at all times. Lots of parking and very peaceful. Thank you Lucy! Just what we needed. Highly recommend this property.

It was an easy walk to all the local amenities and some great walks from the doorstep. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful House and would return in a flash.

Grade II Listed House near Chatsworth

RosemaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Vernon House is a lovely place to stay. It worked well for a group of friends coming together for a reunion. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals for 10 people. The house is well laid out and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed a walk to Chatsworth House along a well marked footpath. Noise from the A6 was most noticeable on Sunday when we sat in the garden. In the house the traffic could not be heard. We were very happy with the house we had chosen for our gathering.

Witeric Cottages

StevenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Whitwick property was a perfect example of an English country cottage with all of the modern conveniences. When we first walked into the house it had the essential period features, a warm comfortable lounge, that led into a lovely dining room then onto a modern country kitchen with period features. The property had two lovely bathrooms and very comfortable upstairs bedrooms. There was a parking space on site and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Great pubs and a co-op store for all of your needs, was just a short dive away. The property also had a generous garden with lawn, outdoor dining area and pretty plants that attracted bumble bees. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Whitwick property.

We had a great stay at Dan's house. The accommodation was perfect for both adults and children. The children's bedroom on the 2nd floor was delightful, with lots of soft toys, and the kitchen/dining space was perfect for eating and relaxing as a family. The house was very clean and well presented, with nice touches of biscuits and prosecco as welcoming gifts. Dan was quick to communicate, and I would highly recommend his house as a great place to stay.

Great place to stay for the weekend of our relatives’ wedding. Check in was straightforward and hosts welcoming. Super house, load of space and well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely private and secure garden for the pooch. Drive for off road parking. Cool tv and audio facilities. Sparkly clean top to bottom. Thoughtful touches like local walking books and a local map with recommendations for places to go up on the wall in the study. Even tea / coffee / shower gel / dishwasher tabs in case we had forgotten. Comfortable and homely. Loved it. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks!
