A delightful cabin in an extraordinarily beautiful location in Freycinet National Park. Very thoughtfully created with welcome gifts of chocolate, biscuits and homemade jam ! We hope to stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful location - stunning beach, so peaceful and remote. Beautiful cottage, very cosy and comfortable. Would definitely return!!

If you are looking for a peaceful scenic location don’t go past the Shepherds Cottage if there is only the two of you. Give yourself enough time to explore the farm and beaches. We stayed for 3 nights but could have easily stayed another day to explore more of the site and maybe through in a line. We used this as a base to travel up to Bicheno one day and Frecinyet the next and also explored Swansea. Tried to buy a Lisdillon bottle of wine but lost the link on line so visited a couple of wineries instead. Katherine was great in responding and giving clear instructions for our stay. The QR code system was really easy to use and provided great info on the place. Just be aware the steps up to the bedroom are quite steep and roof low but there is plenty of room downstairs to leave your suitcases and only take the bare necessities up stairs. I am sure you will enjoy your stay with Katherine and the many sheep running round the farm.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rebecca's place. It is in an absolutely amazing location with stunning views of the mountains. We couldn't believe how beautiful Richardson's beach is (which you access by a small path at the back of the garden) - crystal clear water, view of the mountains, afternoon sun and almost no one else on the beach. The house doesn't have wifi but has great signal (we needed it to plan our hikes and it was not a problem), and allowed us to disconnect fully. It is well stocked with dvds/ games if it is a rainy day. The kitchen was well stocked and bed very comfortable. The national park is a 10 min drive which was brilliant for our hikes. We loved our stay and would recommend !
