The Willemshuis is a detached, ground-floor residence, surrounded by nature and plenty of privacy. It is located directly against the sheltered ramparts of Willemstad's fortress with its walking paths and old bunkers. The center of Willemstad with its cozy restaurants, harbor and shops is just a stone's throw away. The Willemshuis has been totally renovated (2017) and surrounded by a beautiful garden with a terrace on all sides, so that you can look up according to sun or shade.

The facilities were great, spotlessly clean, and we loved the little extras like food items in the fridge and freezer - we were grateful of as the local shop is closed on a sunday. It has its own parking spot, down an alley, so nice and private, and space for the bike rack as well. Garden had some unusual plants in it, which delighted the kids. Plenty of information provided on local activities and local history - very interesting. Thanks for a great stay, we wouldn't hesitate to return, and would heartily recommend it to friends. Beautiful and quiet location. Apartment is ideal for 1 to 4 persons. Good price to quality ratio. Our B&B is spacious. In addition to the B&B room, with Auping bed, kitchen and sitting area, there is a own bathroom and cosy garden room with double sofa bed (160 x 200 very comfortable) and fantastic view over the fields. This is beautifull and quite place for an overnight, close to the city centre of Willemstad, a beatifull fortified city with the oldest Protestant church in The Netherlands. Named after the founder of Holland "Willem van Oranje". facilities are on board and a shower complex is just next to the vessel. It's a completely secured area and the boat can be locked from the inside. a unique experience which to can be combined with a sailing trip of 2 hours, (to be discussed)
