Vacation rentals in Whitton

Lovely place to stay, my only comment would be no basics in the fridge! Travel all around UK using air BnBs for work and most have Milk, bread etc and sometimes even champagne/alcohol beverage. However that doesn’t change my opinion overall great place to stay. Nice quiet relaxing spot. Thanks again.

Perfect spacious cottage with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Everything as described. The host was very responsive and helpful. Very close to York or nearby towns. One tiny fault: when in the garden or opening the windows, be prepared to be exposed to some noise from passing cars and countryside smells:) But the sunset was worth it!

Second time staying here and loved it, so handy to everywhere and had everything we needed😀

We booked Villa 2 for a family get together for a 70th birthday celebration. (8 including a child) The location is central and a couple of minutes walk to harbour. Check in was easy, the host Rachel communicated well and was informative. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Bathrooms were clean, towels, shampoo and shower gel were provided. All bedrooms had a wall mounted tv and storage. Parking permits were provided for the duration of our stay and after request we had a later check out time. (Which after a day of sea air and clocks changing thrown in there were some tired people)

Thank you for another excellent stay. This time we got to benefit from the coastal walks and open space straight out the back gate. Julie was a great help when my lad accidentally set off the house alarm. Within 15 minutes the alarm stopped and our day was saved as we had tickets booked! Brilliant hosting and was attentive that all our expectations were met through the break. Highly recommended and will come again if Julie will have us 🙂

The place was spotlessly clean and the kitchen very well equipped. We cooked Christmas lunch and wanted for nothing. Nice touches like basic condiments, kitchen roll and every type of cleaning materials you could want. The main bedroom is small but the large bed is extremely comfortable, ditto the pillows and duvet. We slept well. Could do with some hanging space, wall hooks and some coat hangers would do. Very nice linen and towels and large chest of draws. The 2nd bedroom also has a very comfortable bed and again well equipped. Living room is warm and comfortable with AC available. TV could do with an upgrade, poor reception. The internet was great with 37Mbps speed. Shower room/toilet is fine but could do with a heated towel rail in winter. The local town, Wragby, is a seven minute walk away with two good pubs, takeaways and a Co-op supermarket. Really friendly people too. All in all the place was perfect for our seven day stay, thoughtfully appointed and highly recommended.

If you’re staying in Pocklington then this house is fantastic. Huge! Clean! Warm and cosy. All the mod cons. Really really exceeded our expectations. It’s just a couple of minutes walk from Market Place. Only comment is that maybe there should be fans in all the bathrooms…otherwise, it’s like Dr. Who’s Tardis…way bigger than you think. Loved it.

Our stay at the sea view holiday cottage was amazing. We were visiting Bridlington to celebrate friend's birthday. Trev has been super helpful and responsive, right from check in to guiding us on places to visit and providing us with anything we needed during our stay -we couldn't have asked for more. The house and the kitchen is fully equipped with all you would need on a holiday. The beach is so close to the house that you can walk down easily. Trev provided us with passes to Sewerby Hall and Garden which was extremely handy. The little one also received some presents from the hosts which was such a nice gesture. Thank you for having us. We will definitely try and visit again!
