Louise's place was perfect. Louise was so easy to communicate with, super responsive, kind, thoughtful and truly appreciated that she had the option of flexible dates (instead of so many sat to sat or sun to sun requirements in summer). The cottage was cozy, cute, spotless & well stocked. My teenage kids loved the hot tub (as it was a bit chilly in the evenings) and I loved the outdoor shower. We loved having the bikes to take rides around the Island and loved the location. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay there longer! We will definitely try to stay at Old Snuggler again!

Chateau René is the perfect peaceful escape. The home cozy and well maintained - exactly as pictured. The view made every morning feel like a dream. René was so warm, responsive, and accommodating. He shared great local recommendations and clear instructions for the house, which made settling in a breeze. The most special part of my stay was getting engaged here! René secretly coordinated with my now-fiancé and friend to make it all happen. His excitement and willingness to help meant a lot to us. Overall, 10/10 stay. We’ll definitely be back!

A hidden gem! This spot has a ton of character and the hosts are awesome! The lake and surrounding area is beautiful as well, with plenty to do for the outdoorsy type and cute shops and great restaurants within minutes. would highly recommend and hope to find time for a return trip!

We loved our stay with Audie from the moment we reached out to make the booking. Audie was immediately responsive, kind, flexible and super helpful. Audie’s hosting was fantastic, and the house was even better! We’ve stayed in plenty of houses in the Pines and the Grove and we all agreed it was our favorite and well worth the price. There was plenty of space for the four of us to hang out, and the house had all the amenities we could ask for - a huge pool, cozy hot tub, a beautiful rooftop deck to watch the sunset, grill, perfect kitchen and steps from a great area of the beach. Audie’s instructions to get inside were clear and easy to follow. And again, Audie was extremely responsive whenever we had questions during our stay. We loved our stay here!

We had the perfect stay for our Thanksgiving. Lots of toys for the kiddo, backyard for the dogs to run around, and a well-stocked kitchen for all our cooking needs (utensils, platters, etc). Sadly we didn’t get to use the play set or the fire pit due to the weather, but we hope to come back when weather is slightly warmer!

The house is well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook/grill. The hot tub was pleasant and the backyard was great for our kids. The location is only about 7 minutes from downtown Cold Spring and 15-20 minutes from Beacon. The location was ideal for wanting a mix of peace and quiet with accessibility to local attractions.

This is the second time we stayed here and it was even better than the first! They have really taken the time to make the place as welcoming and easy to navigate as possible.

The adorable carriage house was just perfect for my husband and me and our dog! We were in town for a wedding, a visit with our son, and a retirement ceremony, so we stayed for over a week. The house was cute, clean, spacious, and located in the lovely town of Cornwall. We went for walks in the morning through the town, worked from the house during the day, and went out in the evening into neighboring towns. It was very close to Beacon and West Point where some of our activities were. Catherine and Jay were wonderful hosts and we would love to stay here again and also venture out to one of their other properties that they host!!

Had a wonderful stay at The Green House. Home was exactly as pictured and very clean. Ada and Miranda were wonderful, responsive hosts and we loved the proximity to various hiking trails. The kitchen was stocked with all of the dishes and utensils to make your meals. Truly a peaceful oasis!

Tech savvy home. All the right plugs for our electronics. Heated bathroom floor a plus during cold weather. Upstairs bedroom had hanging space and dresser, but neither available in lower bedroom. Did have luggage rack in lower bedroom. Definitely a do again for me!

cannot recommend this cottage enough. aside from the fact that it's a hop, Skip and jump away from a beautiful swimmable lake, the property itself is gorgeous and perfect for dog people. we spent a night in the backyard with the fire, and another night inside stoking the indoor fireplace while we cook dinner and play board games. everything is as the host described, wylda is extremely proactive in her communication and pretty much read our minds in terms of what we would need and or want. she also decorated in the most beautiful way. it feels like a home, not some weird cookie cutter situation, it's clean and interesting and fun. I can't believe it's only an hour and a half away from Brooklyn.

We were looking for a last minute peaceful four day getaway and we found it here. We can’t stop talking about it. Although relatively close to everything we felt as if we were in the middle of a forest. The only sounds were the chirping of song birds and a woodpecker in the morning. Local restaurants are great and for us a trip to Yale University’s free museums and nearby antique shops rounded things out. The house is charming and Rio, our host , made sure we had everything. The few things we forgot from home were there! Wonderful experience all around.

I had a great stay! The Airbnb met all my expectations—it was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The space had everything I needed, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax. The owners were also super responsive and helpful with all my questions, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 3 months and enjoyed our time very much. We were very happy from every perspective: The cottage had all the equipment we needed and wished for. We sometimes used the fireplace and loved the bed/couch. The cottage is perfect to rest and focus. We enjoyed to have so much nature around us. We took a walk in the close park with a lake almost every day. We liked to live at a small farm with dogs, chicken and goose. Debbie and Kirk were always there when we needed them and also made us internationals feel welcome. They explained and helped us proactively e.g. changed regional weather circumstances. We also regularly got eggs from the chicken what was always a nice surprise. Communication/ interactions were always easy and friendly. I recommended my work to plan future stays for assignments in this Airbnb. In our opinion it is better than a hotel: Very comfortable, cozy, close to nature and a special American experience. My husband and I had a great stay. James and Rose are super helpful hosts. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Walking distance to a lovely park they recommended with tons of hiking trails and very quiet.

Great place for a family getaway

Eglantine was a very responsive host! She answered immediately with whatever question I had and also very helpful. The binder provided also helped out a ton. There was a slight hiccup with the refrigerator turning off while we were away and we had to throw away some of our perishables because the internal temp of the fridge reach 84 degrees, but Eglantine responded right away when we contacted her about the issue.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a perfect size for our family and our son had a great time playing in the yard and the playground right next door. Our hosts were super responsive the couple of times we needed something. We'll definitely be back!

great place to stay that was only a few houses down from the beach. very convenient that there was a wagon to transport our things after getting off the ferry. also appreciated that beach chairs, beach towels, and bikes were provided. best of all was the outdoor shower though. would recommend and stay again.

This house is absolutely perfect. It's clean, charming, has everything you need. The beautiful back yard has plenty of space and good stuff for kids to play with. Also, it's about a 30 second walk to the beach... neighbors are out on their patch of beach but yours is yours to yourself. It's perfect. We cannot wait to come back.

Our stay at the Lake House Cabin was nothing short of magical! This charming 1940s cabin offered the perfect backdrop for celebrating my wife's birthday with our adult children. The stunning views of the lake were a highlight, providing a serene and picturesque setting that made our family gatherings truly special. We loved the easy access to kayaks and a canoe, which allowed us to explore the water and create lasting memories together. The cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed, making us feel right at home. We appreciated the blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with family and enjoy nature, I can't recommend this lake house highly enough. We left with full hearts and plans to return!

Chrystal was super responsive to all our questions and needs, and gave us a warm welcome when we checked in on our first day. The lovely cottage was fully furnished and had everything our small family needed. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and perfect for walks. Getting to downtown NYC across the G.W. Bridge only took about 20-30 minutes, very convenient. We made wonderful memories during our 9-day stay!
