Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Wheaton, Wheaton-Glenmont

6 of us stayed in this beautiful modern up to date home. We came to see the DC area and attend a couple of events. The home is in a beautiful area we saw deer on 2 different days during our 4 day stay. 2 the first time and 4 the second time. They have a patio with a BBQ and a fire table and chairs. The house was super nice and cozy while being roomy at the same time. We took the metro into DC (top notch metro system)everyday $13.00 for a allday pass or less if you buy multiple day passes. The metro station is 1.5 miles away. Lyft to station was $7 to $9 or 30 minute walk. Stores are nearby. I contacted the host and they were super good to respond right away. All in all I am coming back in the summer and will stay here again

Excellent weekend stay. The sauna and hot tub worked wonderfully. Host was super helpful. Our friend was able to bring their dog which made it even better. The backyard is large so it was perfect for the dog to run around in.

Great location and very spacious house. Stayed here with 2 kids and 3 adults.. and had more than enough room for all of us. Has lots of different room and places for kids to play. Quiet and beds were very comfortable. Tyler was a great host very communicative.

This is the second year that we’ve stayed and I have nothing but good things to say about the property and the hosts. Always great experience, house is always spotless, the hosts are always responsive and the location for us was perfect. Thank you!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect home away from home while we visited our family near by. We loved and appreciated the displays of Christianity and spirituality throughout the home. We were especially impressed with the well appointed and generous kitchen. The sunroom was a great bonus and the outdoor deck space was charming. We felt the neighborhood was safe and easy to navigate and close to stores, restaurants and medical help if needed. Suggestions to make this a truly top notch property would be updating the towels and wash cloths (they are a bit dated, dingy and warn) and splurging a bit to provide two ply toilet paper instead of single :) All in all we would highly recommend this property and would return again.

This home is clean. The complimentary muffins and wine are a nice touch. Plenty of towels and individually wrapped toiletries if you need them along with extra pillows and blankets. If you want to cook there is cookware, seasonings, and dishes. A nice patio with a fire pit, (bring your own matches). Overall a nice home. Cons: The neighborhood or side street is scary. The home sits on an unpaved road alongside some creepy homes. If arriving at night, you would definitely feel as if you want to sit in the car and look around for a few minutes before going to the door. While the patio is nice, you really can’t enjoy it unless the neighbor has there pit bulls in the home. They barked at us all the time and jumped up and high on the fence. Lastly, the beds are very low. I’m 5’10, 250 lbs, sitting/trying to get that low to the ground is too much for my liking. I wouldn’t stay here again. Good place for men. I wouldn’t stay if a man wasn’t with me.

Another delightful stay with Bo and Gillian. Perfect hosts; kind, helpful and responsive. Bo and their 2 kids helped us bring our stuff from the car to the apartment the snowy night we arrived! I love the art and decor so much. Bed is super comfortable. We slept very well. Our granddaughter enjoyed her time with us there too. We will be back. Highly recommend this special place. We loved staying at John and Reina's place with our family of five! The environment is beautiful and peaceful, both inside and outside. It’s also very convenient, being close to everything we needed to enjoy Washington, D.C!

Hudson’s place exceeded our expectations. Quick two day trip to DC with family who’ve never been. Easy to find. On street parking pass. The apartment was well appointed. Everyone had their own space. Easy walk to delicious and diverse dining options. The walk to the metro was 10-15 minutes. Hudson was an excellent host. We plan on returning!

One of my favorite stays was at John’s place, where he truly made it feel like home. The atmosphere, both inside and outside, was incredibly peaceful and serene. I particularly enjoyed spending time by the koi pond; the vibrant fish added a soothing touch to the environment. Even when we lost power, it turned into a cozy experience. We lit candles, played games, and John provided extra flashlights. Despite the unexpected circumstances, the ambiance felt perfect, creating a warm, intimate setting that reminded me of home.

Hospitality was amazing. Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. Great location, easy to access public transportation. we felt very safe. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay for something quick. Lovely hostess, very kind. Lots of beautiful wildlife and a quality fire pit. We got back from the concert at 4:30am and had a fire and everything was ok, what more could a man ask for?

We booked this cabin last-minute for a Valentine's Day getaway. It was perfect for that: cozy and romantic. We went into Leesburg for a fancy dinner at Lightfoot. Great good! And, Shannon even surprised us with a little Valentine's Day gift 🎁 She was respectful of our privacy, responsive to messages, and super thoughtful. We had everything we needed and no problems. We will treasure the memory! (Be sure you don't mind climbing down a ladder in the middle of the night if you're the kind that needs the bathroom then.🤣)

Wonderful and cozy stay in stunning setting - great if you want to go camping with a bit more comfort. The train was quite loud so good to be aware of that, but we had anticipated it so it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Hope to come back next year!
