Loved staying here, it was so peaceful and the welcome from the hosts was very much appreciated- the dogs, chickens, Shetland ponies included! Highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again.

The cottage was exactly what we were hoping for, away from it all so peaceful, lovely views, no light pollution, but easy to get to. The cottage was cosy (even during icy cold windy days), comfortable and well equipped. Large Utility Room great for sorting the dogs out after a wet walk. All in all, had a lovely week, great start to the New Year.

A lovely cottage, literally out of the way of everyone. Very quiet, peaceful and clean. Myself, partner & our dogs truly enjoyed themselves and we all made use of the private pool! What a beautiful touch! The hosts’ communication was perfect, the place was lovely and as described, and would love to stay here again when we need a quiet getaway. I found a lovely walk all the way to Bellingham town centre from the cottage itself, which took me just about an hour; a lovely walk along the lake! No faults at all! WiFi connection was strong, everything worked, and the fire was a lovely extra touch too!

Fantastic place to stay with absolutely everything you need to just land and relex. Amazling log burning stove, full Internet access with Smart TV, kitchen had everything and more, beds very comfortable, beautiful surroundings, comfortable furniture. This was a last minute booking and we only intended on staying one night, hoever due to the heavy snow we ended up having to stay another night as our car couldnt make it through the snow. Sam (host) helped me dig the road out and get the car to the main road, provided us with milk and tea and even logs for our fire to keep us warm and accommodated us for another night until we were able to get home after the snow had passed. She most definitely went the exta mile and more. Highly recommended for a vist here and this will now become our go to cottage for a quite escape and weekends away. 100 out of 10 for service
