Poverty Point Marina is located 1/2 mile north of the house. Wild Country Safari is located just a few miles north of the house and is a fun experience to enjoy with your kids. Our father built this house beginning in 1981. It is located on our 40-acre farm, in front of my sister's cottage, about 100 yards from the house I share with our nephew, which was originally built by our grandparents in 1939. It is quiet, remote and peaceful. It is about seven miles to the nearest grocery stores and restaurants in Bastrop, and one mile to a Dollar General in Collinston. There is wifi in the house, as well as a Roku TV.

Peaceful cabin in orchard! Great Internet!

The Betty suite cabin is based on a standard hotel room. We have a queen bed, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee pot. The private bathroom include a large shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Each room has high-speed Internet with a flat screen, smart TV. This building was the original home of our neighbors - Earl and Betty. We moved the structure to the park and turned it into 2 hotel suites.

5 stars all around! We had a lot of fun. Having a private pier was amazing, and we caught lots of catfish and yellow bass off the pier! The house was very clean and smelled great as soon as you walked in. Very easy check in. The furniture was in great shape and so comfortable. Plenty of kitchen utensils, too. The views were beautiful. It was quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Just perfect! We really enjoyed our honeymoon here, and we hope to come back soon!

My family LOVED The Happy Camper! My husband, 3 teen boys, 7 yr old daughter and I fit comfortably. The camper was set up and smelling great when we arrived. 3TVs with WiFi, definitely an added bonus we weren’t expecting. The kids wanted to buy the camper and move it home they loved it so much! We will definitely be renting again next spring break!we had the best time. Wonderful host!

My husband and I had a family function at a local facility. Jennifer's place was the perfect place to stay. Her place is about 1.5 miles from the facility. When I walked in, I fell in love. It is perfect for a weekend getaway. There is a privacy fence around the backyard and the entrance door. Although it's right off the highway, I felt secluded. We have family in the area, and we have decided the next time we go to the Delhi area, we will stay at The Dog House.

The Minnow Bucket - A lakeside get-away

The Minnow Bucket was a great stay for myself, my wife and grandkids. The place is on Grand Lake with its own dock where even though the weather didn't play fair, we were able to catch several fish off the dock. my grand-daughter is enjoying letting everyone know she outfitted papaw. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. Catherine was a pleasure to meet and talk with. We will definitely be back.

We had a nice stay in Mer Rouge, LA.. Super clean! rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, livingroom and yard. Updated decor inside. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. TVs in all rooms. NOTE: There is no ramp into the house. Fortunately, ,we had strong men in our party who carried mom & wheelchair inside. BUT Appreciated the spacious wheelchair accessible bathrooms, rooms and walk-in showers. Nice small fenced backyard was great for our dog. AC worked great! Located in a very small town in the between Monroe and Epps, Louisiana. Found the home easily with GPS. Kitchen sink needs fixing. Host responded quickly.

You’ll Love Our Levee-Top Lake House!

This was wonderful for a weekend get a way. Not too far from Vicksburg for food and shopping. House was very warm and inviting. Very well stocked kitchen, full of games and activities for all ages. Host as amazing to work with and even left a treat for us in the frig.
