If there ever was a paradise lost, never fret because you'll find it again here. A home away from home nestled amidst pristine pine and fern canopy hugged by the mountains - Rabten and his warm family made every bit of our stay in kalimpong a moment to cherish. We were properly spoiled with cooked food (sumptuous), spacious beds and copious rooms, a view to behold, misty mountain weather that transported us to a fantasy novel, a brilliant hall room to congregate and singalong. Rabten personally ensured we had all the right contacts and logistics sorted out for our sight seeing and transport. Rabten's mum was extremely generous to us, and kind. His crew were engaging and always available to help and assist. I would strongly recommend the homestay, and we definitely made friends here whom we want to visit again, soon!

The stay at Lahiri Niwas was extremely pleasant away from the usual chaotic beaches. The homestay is situated at a huge area having quick access to beachfront. It is perfect for someone looking for a very earthly and homely atmosphere. Mr. Karna who is the caretaker of the property deserves a special mention as he made the stay even more perfect. Arranged everything so perfectly, extremely humble and efficient. Took care of my elderly parents as his own. The food was also very delicious and homely. The place is prettier than it looks in the photos.

Nandita Aunty is an amazing host, and perhaps one of the best I came across thus far. She has been responsive and flexible. Her communication was so transparent, detailed and articulate, and left no scope of ambiguity.She took all the effort to make us feel ‘at home’. Nandita auntie depicts the true ‘bengali’ spirits, and it was a pleasure to meet her and get to know her. This place might not be the best in terms of furnishings and infrastructure , but if you are in Kolkata and want to get the flavor of ‘bengaliness’ I would highly recommend this host and this place.

great hospitality, 2 rooms with 1 bed and 2 beds respectively. food is great. very helpful host. 2.5 km away from prime location, only 1 bathroom and it's not attached. else everything is great. 5 stars specially for their hospitality. khushboo was very friendly and helpful

We had a wonderful stay at the place! It was perfect for my family which we were looking for. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The caretakers were extremely kind and helpful, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the delicious barbeque they arranged for us—it was absolutely tasty and well-prepared! The neighborhood was peaceful and the local people were friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend!

What can I say about our stay other than AMAZING. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place perfect place for you. The BNB is located on th slope and is a bit of a trek while entering. Amazing ambience specially the bathroom. Definitely need to mention our friendly host and his cute family. His food was delicious and he was very friendly. Special mention is his cute little daughter who acted as our guide and never let us feel bored. if you are looking for a place to relax and wind down.. this is perfect
