Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in West Africa

The road is a bit difficult in the rainy season, but once there it's a haven of peace. In addition, Jeremie's kindness quickly makes us forget this little inconvenience and we extended our stay by a week as we felt good in this place. Our room was spacious . There is a kitchen and living/dining room that are to be shared with any other tourists. Everything is very clean and bright. I would highly recommend!

Mariam et Malick are very welcoming people that make you feel at home. Mariam was very helpful when I needed help to find places at the market and she offered me a drive to town. The house and the room is very nice and clean.

A fantastic retreat from the business of the city - an amazing lodge in the middle of beautiful countryside with wonderful staff and lots of wildlife to be spotted. Thank you to the entire AbCa team for our stay!

The villagers of Pointe Saint Georges are very welcoming . Village tour of rice fields , presentation to the village chef, wine tasting made from the anacardier.

There is a place to be: a great get away place, perfect to be quiet and comfortable. I've found it, and it's in Jeremie's house. Spacious, very clean, very functional, beautiful interior and view, very well maintained, well stocked kitchen. I had a wonderful experience. GREAT and NICE people, led by Mr. Jeremie, who helped me out with ANYTHING I needed and more, including other services I requested. I definitely RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Staying at Greg and Hilary’s place was a great Airbnb experience. Hilary and her staff made us feel welcome right from the start. The hut was spacious, light and clean and we really loved the hut’s African-style. This is what you hope to find when it comes to staying at an accomdation. Besides that, the location (the beach is just in front of the accomodation) is a great addition, everything is carefully looked after and the food (lunch and dinner) is very tasty. The place is also really really beautiful! The breakfast however could use some fruits free of charge (right now you can add a few options to your breakfast - bread with (peanut)butter or jam, tea/coffee and eggs - if you are willing to pay extra). Besides that, the WiFi didn’t work during our whole stay so we weren’t able to contact the host of our next accomodation nor could we check-in online for our flights. Despite this, the accomodation itself really made up for this, and in some way it actually felt kind of liberating to be offline for a few days. Thank you for everything!

This was everything we wanted and more for a peaceful getaway. We stayed in the Loft which allowed us beautiful views of both the sunset and sunrise. The food was very good! Service and hospitality were outstanding. Room was simple and clean with everything we needed. It feels away from everything, yet easily accessible to saly and surroundings. We were very impressed and will definitely come again!

We were the first guests to book this property with Air BnB and the only people staying at the time. The staff welcomed us as thought we were members of their family, staying here is a very bespoke experience. Las, the chef, was very responsive to our tastes. There is a choice of European or African dishes. His chicken domada was superb. Food was plentiful and can be served at tines to suit you. Breakfast is included in rental price. Farakunku can arrange transfers or days out with their helpful driver Bob. We had a great day with Bob visiting turtles, reptiles, a mosque, riverside and beach. They also organised half a days birdwatching for us. The lodge is a little oasis away from the dusty tracks of rural Gambia. Extremely peaceful and with a plunge pool to cool off. Facilities are better than your average lodge with hot water and WiFi. Lodge services are paid for by bank transfer so there is no need to take lots of cash. Thanks to Fatou, Lamin, Las and Bob for great service.

The place is amazing. The room and the bathroom was clean. To find the place from Takoradi it was a bit tricky but Francis was very helpful. We had a beautiful time there.

Amazing place in the middle of the forest, very close to the beach. I felt as at home there and everything was absolutely perfect. The space are very clean and the bed very comfortable

Aliou and the Diop family welcomed us with a lot of kindness and sweetness. The stay was absolutely great thanks to a fairytale setting (fireflies, traditional stories and other surprises...) and a festive atmosphere (songs, dances, board games with family and friends...). Our hosts were very attentive to our needs. The food was great (thanks again to the chef). I would recommend it in a second.

We had an amazing stay at Mangokope. The house was very comfortable, the pool was fantastic and the pool house a great place to chill out and relax. The farm is very peaceful. We were given a tour of the farm, it was excellent. We really appreciated the time spent with us and answering all our questions! We were served typical Ghanaian dishes which were delicious. I would definitely recommend Mangokope Lodge as a place to stay and would definitely return again. Thank you Bryan for a great stay.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, a small, refreshing swimming pool, the beautifully furnished space, the soothing decor, the location of the hotel perfect and indeed with your feet in the water. Everything helps to have a beautiful time facing the ocean, and then what could be more beautiful at night, what to listen to the waves? i will come back with great pleasure. the air conditioning was not working but the window was open, the fresh air for the night is what is the best!

Staying at about time was a unique experience. The place is breathtaking, everyone is very friendly and kind and everything made us feel at home. We enjoyed spending the three days we booked there so much that we ended up staying another week! We made many friends and hope to return in the near future. Thank you to everyone who works there, it was wonderful!

Lovely place to stay. Great town, beach close by, nice restaurants. Elena was very kind, offered a coffee in the morning and took good care.

A haven of peace and light, so close to Ouaga. Everything is wonderful, from homemade soap, from the natural and refined architecture to the vast garden that reigns so much wealth and conversations. I'm even hesitant to share this precious place...
