The Little House on the Hill at the eastern end of Warburton overlooks the chooks, the veggie patch, the orchard and across the valley to gorgeous 270° views. It is next door to the Big House, set on an acre that slopes down to the Yarra River. A great swimming spot on hot days and a good way to access the town and the rail trail (five minutes there, maybe ten minutes return - uphill). There are plenty of lovely walks nearby including the Aqueduct Trail that starts further up the hill.
“Bruce's and Melinda's is a lovely place just a quick stroll away from Waburton's town. the views are amazing and the place is super cozy. We loved how accessible all the attractions are from here and how hospitable Bruce and Melinda are. We loved this place and will come back eventually.”
Nestled between the Redwood Forest and La La Falls you'll find our tiny mountain getaway. Get toasty by the wood fire and relax while you take in the mountain views. Enjoy visits from our resident wildlife, Kookaburra's, Lyrebird's, Cockatoo's, Wallabies and even a Wombat. This is the perfect retreat for couples who want to exclude themselves from the world or adventure the beauty of the surrounds.
“Peta and Daniel’s accomodation was magical. The tiny house was well thought out, we could tell a lot of effort and love went into the space. From landscaping to lighting to comfy bed, we appreciated the little touches. The house had everything we needed including kitchen utensils, board games and plenty of firewood to keep us warm throughout the night. The view was great overlooking the mountain, it felt very private and secluded. It was the perfect stay and we were very lucky to have stayed an extra night! Thank you both, can’t wait to stay again.”
My place is close to Innocent bystander and Giant Steps. You’ll love my place because its has been newly renovated and is in a central location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families, and big groups. It is about a 10 minute walk to Innocent Bystander, and a 15 minute walk to the main street. There is a path alongside Don Rd which is quite flat. You can also cut through the footy oval and Queens Park. The house is in a residential street, on a treed block.
“I loved this AirBnB! I needed an escape from my apartment (lockdown was getting to me) so I stayed for a week and worked from the house. It truly felt like a home. The house is perfectly appointed with comfy beds and plenty of space both inside and out. Great value for money and the hosts were super easy to liaise with. Highly recommend!!”
