Great Location & the place was just like the pictures

We are often in Lüdinghausen for professional reasons and have booked the accommodation for this purpose several times. We feel super comfortable every time and now almost at home. :-) The apartment has everything you need for a short stay. It is also super quiet and totally cozy. We will be happy to come back anytime and are already looking forward to the next stay.

We were here for an overnight stay due to a wedding nearby. The place was exactly as described – clean, well-equipped and nicely located. Communication was friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

The house was just as described. The location great to us. In the morning, only the birds could be heard. At breakfast and dinner, we always had a visit from 3 blackbirds and two rabbits who were on the lawn. We were able to take beautiful bike rides. With our dog, it was only a few steps through the gate in the garden into the forest. We also liked the walks around the small lake. What was there to complain about? An open description for the TV might have been helpful. Maybe it was also in the drawer in the kitchen, where we also found the description for the oven. Which we needed, because the setting symbols on the rotary knob are printed very small on the side edge and you can't see them when you stand in front of the oven. But the manufacturer's designer messed that up. All in all, we have a quiet, beautiful vacation. Would have been too quiet for our children with the grandchildren

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. Everything was perfect, the hostess was very responsive and created very comfortable conditions with a gorgeous view of the lake, we felt at home, the reality exceeded expectations and special thanks for the compliment in the form of flowers, fruits and sweets. I recommend it 100%!

Our Romanesque break with Sven – An adventure with lots of relaxation and a touch of luxury!** Imagine you are driving into tranquility, where the stress of everyday life dissolves into thin air and your soul can finally breathe again. That's exactly what our time out at Sven's was like! With a broad grin on his face (both ours and Sven's – yes, he really always grinned!), he showed us the place. “Great, a charging station right on site!“Sven, our charming host genius, not only had a smile on his face, but also 🚵‍♀️ provided the Montenbiks! “Go out there and get some fresh air,” he said, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. From the accommodation, we set off on a small tour through the Teutoburg Forest. After the sporting activity, we made ourselves comfortable in the luxury hot tub. Conclusion: Our time out at Sven's was a complete success! We not only had time to relax, but also had a great time.

Super nice! Idyllic, large meadow by the house great for ball games or frisbee, several streams by the house + various cozy spots. Inside everything is very tasteful, nice mix of old + new, many wooden beams, very different room heights. Upstairs 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub. Toilet on the first floor would be more practical, especially as the stairs are a little special, just an old building. The remains of the former mill right by the house ensure a clearly audible permanent splashing. But you don't hear any cars driving by at some distance. Directly around the house there are only meadows, water, trees, fields and the neighboring house with 2 (?) other apartments. Many beautiful views. Brilon can be reached in 5 minutes by car, but you feel very nice for yourself due to the valley location. Weak Wi-Fi, which is noticeable when, for example, streaming music and using the library. Good coffee machine. Despite all the small criticisms or ideas for improvement: we felt very comfortable!

The stay was really sparkling clean and Lycien was really friendly. Beautiful views and really relaxed due to the silence of the area. In addition, a perfect location, everything is close by, supermarkets, etc. Also plenty of culture to see. We will definitely come back, what a nice place to stay and everything was perfectly arranged.

I was a guest in Kerstin's accommodation with my family. Kerstin and Kalle are incredibly great and thoughtful hosts. We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The apartment is lovingly furnished and offers plenty of space for everything. The winter garden and the terrace are a dream and invite you to relax. Shopping and business opportunities are close by. We really didn't miss anything. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The beds were very comfortable and cuddly. Everything was clean. There was a bottle of welcome bubbly and delicious chocolate. In the bathroom, a good-smelling wellness shower gel. In the kitchen we were allowed to drink coffee and tea, In the living room, interesting books about the region and topics were available. There is a grocery store almost right next to the accommodation, and the host is so kind. The bathroom and toilet are also nice.
