Guesthouse vacation rentals in Weligama

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was super comfortable and flexible. For New Year’s, we joined everyone for dinner, which was delicious and such a cozy experience. Later, we walked to a small club called “Lazies,” where a great DJ was playing at the rooftop bar—such a fun vibe! The location is close to the beach with a nice surf atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

The tiny house is great. We really appreciated that we had a small kitchen to make breakfast or dinner. In addition, you are close enough to the beach and can walk there without problems. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

For nature lover this is a paradise: in the mode of the jungle and in front of a tropical lake... the house is unique with with a psychedelic design. The neighborhood is friendly and calm. Ll come back again... Thanks Roshan

The stay was really great! The place is beautifully situated right by the beach. From the room you can hear the sea. And Rajitha and his family are very nice and helpful. Had a real good time. Thank you!

Our stay at Sleepy Head Guesthouse was great. The guesthouse is in the back of the owners house and has three floors. The room was clean, well working A/C, small fridge, big bathroom. The beach is very close (~5min walk) and you can walk via beach to the city centre (~15min) or take a Tuk Tuk. Bus stop is also around the corner. The breakfast from Darshakas mum was great, we loved it. She also gives cooking lessons but unfortunately we had only short time. Communication was easy and Darshaka and his family are very lovely hosts. We recommend staying there and would come again.

We stayed here for 12 nights and it was absolutely lovely. The listing doesn’t tell you but there are hosts on the property who take excellent care of you as well! Lakmal and his family cooked all our meals, did our washing and kept the place very clean. They even sorted a car for us during our time there. They were so lovely and amazing with our 2 year old who absolutely loved them! The property is in a brilliant location, close by to Weligama (15 minute walk to the beach). It is just like the photos and extremely clean, Lakmal and his family also cleaned it regularly whilst we were there and provided us with anything we requested. I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a quieter property outside of the busy Weligama but close enough to enjoy it during the daytime.

We had a great stay at Ramal’s! The Airbnb is lovely and spacious! Ramal was super helpful, he gave us great recommendations and was very quick to respond! Would 100% recommend this place to stay in Ahangama!!

We stayed one night at Dilshan's place and were genuinely impressed by the experience. The property is modern and well-maintained, with a great attention to detail. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean, which made us feel comfortable right away. We didn’t expect a welcome drink, so that was a lovely surprise and a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay. Everything we needed was provided—clean towels, fresh bedsheets, soap, and bottled water. The room was equipped with both air conditioning and a fan, both of which were working perfectly, ensuring a very comfortable night’s sleep. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. What really stood out to us was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly responsive, supportive, and genuinely caring. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always ready to help with a warm attitude. We will come back again!

Cozy, quiet apartment. High speed wifi, air conditioning and a comfortable workspace. Nothing superfluous inside but still has all the amenities. Very hospitable and helpful host who is on call 24/7. Galle is accessible by bus from a bus stop not far from the apartment. We had a great stay, thank you)

Perfect for short stays! The room is small but cozy and comfortable. Everything is clean, and the caretaker is kind and always ready to help. Plus, all the attractions are within walking distance. I’d gladly stay here again!

We really enjoyed our holiday in this apartment. Faris was super friendly, he always helped us when we needed something, there was not one thing he couldn‘t manage! The check-in was easy and fast, when we arrived at the lodge, Faris was immediately there and showed us around. He also helped us with the sri lankan sim cards and the mobile wifi-router. Also, the location was fantastic! The lodge is directly on the beach and supermarkets, cafés/restaurants and everything else you need is right around the corner. I will definitely come again, thank you Faris!!
