Thank you Rachel for a wonderful stay in your beautiful barn. It was even better than the photos and we both felt at home,it was in a peaceful setting in a lovely village. I would highly recommend staying here and include a visit to the plough inn booking is recommended and Belton House NT which is 10 minutes down the road.

Paddock Cottage was so cosy and everything was as described. The garden was very pretty , we had a quiet peaceful visit and wanted to stay longer . Many thanks Jayne

Booked for a prolonged stay due to flood damage to our house, so we are local. Caroline has been wonderful from the start. Very understanding and great comms. The house was clean and comfortable, just what we needed at the time. She has been in touch throughout our stay just for updates and if we needed anything. She has been very thoughtful towards our daughter (2) with buying different bed sheets and shelving for her room. If we needed to stay again, we wouldn’t think twice about booking Helmsley house with Caroline. 5 stars all round.

Cosy cottage feel, spotless, beautiful garden and view of rolling hills, lovely touch to have croissant and orange juice and yoghurt/granola for breakfast. Convenient location to break up our drive up the A1, and less than 10 minute drive to Belton Estate (National Trust) which had good adventure playground for our daughter. We'll be back!
