Vacation rentals in Washington County

We enjoyed our rest and relaxation at this cozy lake getaway! It was the perfect location to meet both of our daughters for family time and cooking together. The view of the lake and the night sky away from city life were wonderful! We enjoyed paddling around the lake shore in provided Kayaks where we saw lots of fish, cranes, ducks, geese, turtles and even a grape vineyard along the shore! We found an apple orchard nearby to do some fall picking. Mary and Larry came out to meet us and shared local recommendations of activities along with some fresh tomatoes. Left feeling renewed! So quiet and great sleep!

Last minute trip to IL & we chose to do an AirBnB. Very affordable. Easy check in. Had everything we needed for the stay. Pet friendly which is a must when we travel. Would like for the bathroom to have more privacy but not a deal breaker. Would stay again.

We needed a place to meet our daughter for 1 night that is halfway between us. Turtle Cove seemed to fit the bill, and it was. The host gave us reams of information about the cabin and the surrounding area. Her directions were also spot on as the cabin could be hard to find without them. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We enjoyed our night so much we will consider this in the future as a good family meeting place.

Jake and Krista's lake house was very spacious and beautiful! They were very proactive in communication and were incredibly detailed, which was helpful. Finding the house was a breeze with their directions. We loved being able to use the kayaks on the private beach and our dog loved being able to spread out around the house. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed!

This was probably our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The location was amazing, the accommodations were exactly as described, and the amenities were above and beyond what we usually find. We even got to see some deer visiting the yard during our stay! Our kids loved having the Foosball table and arcade and honestly we did as well. The water dispenser was a nice touch and made it really easy to refill our water cups during our stay. Being able to park in the garage was nice for chilly mornings and peace of mind as well. We were able to pack light and make use of the laundry during our stay. They had plenty of paper goods, trash bags, and soap/bodywash/shampoo. There was an abundance of K-Cups and coffee cups and everything you would need to eat (and cook) meals in the cabin. Whenever we got tired in St Louis, we were able to go have a peaceful sanctuary at the cabin. There are at least 2 farms and cider mills within 20 minutes also! We cant wait to return.

We were very comfortable and felt our needs were 100%met. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

This is my second time staying here and just like before it did not disappoint. Phil and Liz are more than proactive, helpful and responsive. Their hospitality and amenities makes this place feel just like home. It is a very clean and welcoming house with more than enough to do within walking distance. It’s always nice knowing I have a home to come to when I visit. I had the pleasure of meeting Phil and speaking with him. It was nothing less than a great conversation and wish I could have stayed longer! Thanks again!
