Amazing stay in Waubaushene! lots of rooms and space, perfect for a couple familys to get together. Right beside a boat launch that will lead into Georgian bay. Fire pit right beside the water. A nice deck with a perfect view of the lake, and tonnes of parking space.

We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely spot to stay with the family. We had such a nice weekend. Meaford is great place and close to both Owen sound and Collingwood to explore further. The house was comfortable and a great place for our family and dog to relax. It had everything we needed

Our stay here was fantastic. The house is big with plenty of rooms for a big group. It was clean and orderly. There is a beautiful dock with a canoe, kayak and life jackets. Our host Fred was very kind and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone looking a cottage getaway.

Wonderful stay! Our host Dylan was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating. The home fit our large group comfortably. The home was spotless, beds were very comfortable and we appreciated all the little extras (lots of towels, warm blankets, coffees, teas, little treats) Hot tub was very relaxing and clean. Lots to do, we all enjoyed ourselves and we’re already planning our return stay!! 😊

If you love boating/ fishing then this is the place to be! Cute cottage, walkable to town/ restaurants, beach in front of cottage, option of a boat slip and boat ramp right on site. Lovely spot— we’ll be back!

My family and I, eight of us in total, had a wonderful time at Mistywood cottage. The cottage had everything we needed for a 4-day weekend escape. The property was lovely and the cottage was spacious, cosy and comfortable. The water level was high and the river was running a bit fast due to spring runoff but we still managed to use the kayaks and peddle boat. The hot tub was a hit and provided some much needed relaxation. Communication with the hosts was prompt and helpful and they were a pleasure to deal with. Amazing host, the dock is separate from the house, a 10 second walk, the hot tub and sauna are in the backyard. Water is very heavy and smells a lot, place is older and has bugs, but overall it was a great stay if you’re not picky. The hosts allowed us an early check in and late check out. Just because of their service I give them a 10/10

Trevor's Cabin has a breathtaking view. The cabin is really nice with a full wood panel interior, lots of large water facing windows, and is very isolated. The property was spotless. Super easy to check in with clear instructions. Trevor Replied to every message within minutes. BBQ was clean and in perfect condition. outdoor picnic table and 4 Muskoka chairs. Private dock. all in all, a perfect cottage getaway location. My wife and I will definitely be back.

The cottage setting was spectacular! Quiet and peaceful with the amenities my group loves - big, comfortable common spaces, a large kitchen, and rooms for private, peaceful sleeping. The wood burning fireplace was a real treat.

We loved this place and wish we could come back (but it’s far from our home). Chris left us some delicious sweets and detailed map of great place to eat and places to go for nature walks. My handicapped Mom felt very comfortable and we all enjoyed the lake view and how peaceful the area is. My brother even saw a mink by the docks. And the host set up a bird feeder so Mom could watch the blackbirds and blue jays. I highly recommend this place. Upper floor w slanted ceiling would be difficult but not impossible for tall people. If it’s a hot day, I suggest turning on the air conditioner early, to cool down the upper floor bedrooms.

Good value. We were looking for something humble and didn't want to break the bank. This is a very nice spot with that special something. We were snowed in our entire stay but the space was well set up for that, with TV's in each room with internet and apps. Really kind host. I would recommend this place and we would book again.

We had a really nice September weekend at Helen's cottage. The cottage is bright with nice big windows. The property on the river is beautiful with some lovely birch trees. We were especially happy to sit on the muskoka chairs and read our books. Very peaceful. Lots of outdoor seating options and the gazebo accessible from the kitchen or the back deck was especially appreciated. We ate most of our meals there. We were all happy with this cottage.

Perfect weekend get away. Close to the city. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play.

My friends and I stayed at this cottage over Thanksgiving weekend and had an amazing time! The cottage was clean and had all the amenities needed. The location was beautiful, with the canoe, kayak and pedal boat being an amazing way to explore the lake. Kristian was also a great host - responded fast, gave recommendations, and was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place!

The place was relaxing and we felt like we’re home.

This cottage is exactly what you hope for. It is cozy and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the property is beautiful. We used the canoe to explore the lake and ended up visiting the provincial park just to the north. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking and even baking. The BBQ was very clean and a breeze to use. The wifi is very fast! The only thing that would have made our visit perfect would have been the inclusion of some wood to use in the fireplace, as we were visiting in the middle of a cold snap.

Definitely will be booking again. Very relaxing!
