We had a great long weekend here, the house was beautiful and like a home from home. The location and views were spectacular. We took a couple of trips out to do some activities in the Lake District but mainly spent time enjoying the wonderful house. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful countryside getaway with family or friends. Rebecca was a great host and very responsive when any issue arose.

Andrew's place never fails to satisfy! This is our third visit. Great value for money, clean, well equipped, massive comfy bed, private hot tub. bang in the middle of Morecambe with easy access to the south lakes and lovely local coastal towns. We'll be back! :)

The location was very good in that the centre was within walking distance with a choice of excellent restaurants. The house was spotlessly clean and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

We’ve had a truly wonderful stay at Janet’s beautiful farmhouse. My wife, our dog and I felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Janet has been an absolutely lovely host – always kind, thoughtful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. She gave us excellent recommendations for local attractions and made herself available in case of any emergencies, which we deeply appreciated. The house itself is spotless – everything was impeccably clean, including the furniture and the bedding. The bed linen smelled fresh, and the duvet was of exceptional quality, making our nights very comfortable. The interior is modern and beautifully designed, offering a perfect balance between style and comfort. The bathroom had strong water pressure and lovely hot water, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which made our stay even more convenient. We are leaving today with hearts full of gratitude. Thank you, Janet, for making our holiday so special. We would not hesitate to return

Really worth it! Mark & Rachel were great hosts you took the time to share and walk me through the full details of the property and its surrounding area. They were kind and responsive making me and my family feel right at home. The property is a nice stroll away from the sea front and conveniently across a Sainsbury’s for any needs during the stay. I hope to stay there again when I’m next in Lancaster as all my needs were met. Thank you Mark & Rachel for a pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed our time at Paula's cottage. The space was clean, peaceful and super comfortable with a great location. We'd absolutely recommend and would stay again!

Lovely olde world cottage,superb views , walking from the doorstep, Lovely and warm and the log burner is brilliant, lovely bathroom and great walk in shower

Very comfortable stay, amazing views, comfy sofa and beds, kitchen had lots of utensils, parking a bit tight but we expected that. Can’t beat the view.

Lovely lodge close to amenities and plenty to see and do. The welcome book with places to see and eat was brilliant. Very clean lodge and the extra little touches was an added bonus. Christine was always available for any questions. We would stay there again.

We stayed at Simon and Belinda's place for a week and it was exactly what we needed. Fantastic location for walks and food. The Wainwright's Inn is only 0.2 miles away. Great food and local ales on your doorstep. The cottage is cosy, the kitchen is well equipped and the information provided was very thorough and useful. There are some books in the house they have prepared to show various walks and local recommendations. We did some of these walks and our 5 year old enjoyed every second! We took advantage of the leisure facilities at The Langdale. This was a great addition to the cottage! Really recommend if you want a place near to town locations, walks and local pubs/cafés/restaurants.

We booked the lodge last minute for a first little mini-break with our 4 month old baby. The grounds were beautiful, well-kept and there were lots of a lovely walks around the site. The lodge itself was perfect for what we needed, it was tastefully furnished and decorated, clean and tidy, and had all we could need. The only thing which was a bit hard work was having a stove-top kettle rather than an electric one, which took a while for making the babies bottle (just personal preference). The hot tub was so relaxing, and the waterfall shower was amazing! We sadly didn’t get to use the outdoor pool with the baby, as it was a bit cooler weather on the day we could have gone. The on-site bar was great for drinks in the sun and had a happy hour 2for1 deal. We had nice food there one evening and breakfast on our last day - only complaint was very slow service, they seemed in-experienced and understaffed, but pleasant enough. Great stay all in all and would recommend and return!

The most amazing location, cabin is wonderful has EVERYTHING you could ever need, there’s not many places I could stay a week but we could here! We will be back, the pool is a great addition for children also. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your cabin ⭐️

Beautiful caravan super spacious and clean. Fantastic location close to moorcombe bay. Lisa was extremely helpful from booking to checkout would defiantly recommend and stay again.

Visited with young family, two under 1yr and a toddler, and the grandparents. Charlotte was very helpful in organising additional Baby Chairs and Travel Cots to save us space in the car which is a premium when travelling with kids. Lodge was very comfortable inside. Deck was well maintained and the retractible parasol over the outdoor table was great to keep the kids in the shade. We made full use of the BBQ, the venue provided food for feeding the swans/ducks and the views from the Jacuzzi during the sunset were great alongside the provided candles & evening fairy lights. In terms of the immediate local area we visited the wildlife park and also a local farm. The onsite restaurant meal we had on the Sunday evening was also pretty good but be mindful that it closes quite early for food. All in all a good 3 days with family and I’d definitely consider going back. Thanks Charlotte 👍

Alma and Charlie are lovely hosts, personally showing us to our cabin and ensuring we were settled. The cabin itself had everything we needed and we'll be booking again

Accommodation suited our needs - thought cottage was owned by Longlands - no idea who Ali was, but all was good. No shower mat & slippery floor in shower, our only criticism, would book again if available.

We had a lovely stay at Margaret and John's lodge. It is really peaceful, well equipped and comfortable as well as being well located for exploring coast, lakes or dales. Margararet was friendly and helpful :) thank you very much for having us! We would happily book again x

We really enjoyed our stay at this airbnb. The surroundings and building itself are beautiful. We fell in love with the very friendly cat who visited us many times. The balcony and garden are gorgeous and we got incredibly lucky with the weather. It maybe wasn’t as private as the listing suggests but it wasn’t much of an issue for us. The hosts were incredibly helpful to bring us plenty of bottled water while the water mains in the area were having some problems. We had a fantastic stay here.

We absolutely loved staying at Aggie’s place! It felt like home, the house had everything we needed. Super beautiful location and helpful host. They really go above and beyond for their guests and we would definitely recommend and come back again :)

The pictures just don’t do this wonderful place justice, the lodge is absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We were met by Stan on arrival and he walked us round the lodge and told us all helpful bits and bobs. He left us a book with recommendations and info for the lodge and its amenities. We had access to 3 kayaks which were so much fun! Nothing was too much trouble for Stan he was very responsive and so friendly. We will definitely be returning, what a perfect stay in a perfect location and accommodation. Thanks Stan and his wife Jane again.

Easy access to the Lake District for lovely days out. Thw place easily slept 6 of us 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Every amenity available including air fryers and dishes/utensils. Lake District bliss! A wonderful base for our holiday in the area. Perfectly located for walking around Newby Bridge (we visited the pub every day for a meal or just to grab a coffee/drink). A short drive 20 mins or so to lots of fab sites (Beatrix Potter House, Lake Windermere, Graythwaite Adventures, etc.) but the best was the historic steam train that went right past the back garden a few times a day (not disruptive at all and adds to the ambiance!)
