“WOW! Thank you to Pam & Walter for providing us with a fantastic home-base for our weekend getaway. We truly cherished the time we spent at the cottage as much as discovering more around the area. It is a comfortable, very clean, and delightful place that we wish to come back to again. We really enjoyed the chance to grill a meal (not so easy in Brooklyn!), the generous bottle of rosé, the details like the blue patio table and flowers that made us imagine we could be in Paris, and the beautiful Housatonic River where we ventured on my wish to swim in a river. We're grateful we got the chance to book a weekend due to a previous cancellation. We certainly left in better spirits than we arrived given today's climate with COVID. We can't wait to visit again when we get the chance!”

“Excellent value for a weekend away and lovely, gracious host. We spent a couple of days here and there is fantastic hiking and gorgeous little towns in very close proximity. Peter was quick to offer tips, and is a generous host. The property abuts huge meadows of old farm land with an old (walkable), road going to the top of a hill. There’s a book Peter put together for guests to read about the previous owners, replete with farming pictures from the 1940’s. Highly recommend the Warren General store which is a quick trip down the road. Great WiFi, fire pit with wood, and coffee was all most appreciated. Thank you Peter!”

“Jennifer and her family are incredible. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. She was flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place is the same as pictures and the scenery getting there was very tranquil. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a nights stay. Would definitely recommend!”
