Vacation rentals in Warminster

We were greeted by Helen, who kindly showed us into the cottage, and gave us all sorts of info about the facilities, and the local area. The cottage was perfect for our stay, private, spacious, warm, peaceful, and contained everything one would want for a self catered break. The garden is large and has sun loungers and table and chairs for dining outside, however being there in March meant we couldn’t really make use of those. However, we certainly made us of the garden’s star attraction, the wonderful hot tub. It was an idyllic experience, laying back in the warm water, glass of wine in hand, and just the sweetest sounds of birdsong to be heard. Coming from London, we found that peace so very refreshing, and relaxing. Helen’s a perfect host, allowing you the utmost privacy, but always on hand and happy to share local information and recommendations if required. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back.

What an amazing cosy cottage! we stayed at Maddies cottage for 2 nights for our daughters birthday, we visited longleat, Bath and a nearby farm and all were fabulous. the cottage was absolutely stunning and it was hard to get our daughter to leave with all the lovely toys, books and great outdoor space. Victoria’s house was beautiful, and perfect for our 2 families (8 people in total!) The wood burner was a lovely addition in the cold evenings. Bedrooms were an ideal layout for us and having 3 bathrooms was great and extremely helpful. The kitchen was stunning with fully equipped cupboards with everything needed. Very detailed information on house rules and expectations. Victoria was a perfect host and was very responsive to any questions. I didn’t have any issues for her to resolve as the house was perfect. The location was great for us as all the outings we had planned were a car drive away, we did go on a walk that was detailed in the information folder that was in the house, it was a lovely 2hrs in the countryside and something we wouldn’t have known had Victoria not put it in there. The local pub which is as 1 min walk did a lovely meal and Sunday roast. I would highly recommend this property, and Victoria as a host was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Andy’s place. He was very welcoming, showed us how to use the oven (as we were cooking Christmas dinner for 9), the heating, etc. The house was in a great location with lots to do in the local area. Would recommend a stay here. Thanks Andy!

Gemma's place was super cosy with plenty of space for adults to enjoy a relaxing time and celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday. Nice garden with sitting area and big space for the children to run around in and enjoy the Llamas and Goats in the adjoining fields. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. Gemma was super helpful with all my last minute requests and kept in touch during our stay. We managed to park our three cars in the drive!! Plenty to do around and would recommend Da Costa restaurant where we had a delicious lunch. My whole family throughly enjoyed the stay.

Had a short weekend at the flat on this loverly farm. If you want some where to chill and have some peace then this is the place to be. Add the style of the flat inside and out and how helpfull Lucy and her crew are, you the have this perfect place. The correspondence and information on the arrival and departure is first class. There is a nice little pub no more than a five minute drive called The Antelope Inn, very friendly. Thanks again Lucy for a wonderful stay.

Very happy with our New Year stay. The house was modern and comfortable and there was plenty of space for six adults and two teenagers. The location was peaceful and calm and it was great to be able to walk into the village centre for shops and cafes.

Immerse yourself in nature and a world of books. Stanley’s a Bibliophile with an astounding collection of books. A beautifully curated home of antiques, artefacts from world travels, pictures and books displayed creatively in every room, creating wonderful character and ambience, like no other Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. There is a great, bright cook’s kitchen/dining area, a huge family table for eating and playing games or listening to some classical music from a beautiful collection. A cosy lounge with log fire and tv, two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom that has a bath and separate walk in shower upstairs. Set in beautiful countryside, this is an outstanding location for peace and quiet, yet a short drive to historic Shaftesbury. Perfect for our family and two young children.

Very respectful and warm upon greeting. Lovely tidy little place with all the amenities you'll need for a stay that has you feeling like you're right at home. Plenty to see and do in not only the town it's in, but public transport nearby can take you to neighbouring towns and cities quickly. Every aspect of my stay was 10/10 and I highly recommend this place as a great stay! Thank you.
