Private one bedroom, private bathroom in Watertown
“Very nice room; the guest has a lot of space and privacy. It is a basement, so you can expect some noises coming from the main house, a lower ceiling than usual and some pipes around, but none of these have bothered me at all. The localization offers a high cost-benefit because it is walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants as well as walkways around the river. Additionally, it is very easy to take a bus to Boston or Harvard, where you can transfer to the subway and get almost anyplace in the region.”
Five bedroom/three bathroom house. This listing is for the white room. Nice deck to relax on and patio with seating in a professionally landscaped back yard. Parking off the street for one small car. Off public transportation.
“The room was just as pictured and described. The host responded to my messages in timely manner, was polite and respectful. The room was clean and organize just like the rest of the house. The area is safe and minutes from the highway. The room/house was quiet, acceptable noise from obvious reasons when staying in a place were people live but absolutely would stay there again. Shower was sparkling clean, room as well. Noticeable attention to detail in decoration from the host side. A great place to stay and recharge energy when living at an overwhelming pace.”
Thank you for considering letting us host you. Completely separate & private entrance to the lower level of a single family home. Enjoy a clean, quiet bedroom, sitting area & private bath, off street parking. There is a fridge/microwave. Newton is 10 miles west of Boston and easily accessible by public transportation & the MA Pike, Rte 95 & 128. I follow all the AirB&B cleaning protocols. My house isn't a "hook- up hotel".
“Althea was a great host and s a great communicator too. The place is clean, very quiet, safe neighborhood, decorated in appealing manner and a great for one person or maybe a couple. It is accessible to anyplace in the Boston area very easily as it is on the Mass Pike and a train line. There are many local places to eat or get take out (as was the case during the quarantine time). Many in walking distance too. It is also in walking distance to a little village area that also has local movie theatre....which will hopefully reopen when the Covid is past. The only drawback is there is no kitchen but there is microwave and ability to cook small things. Everything is made clear though by Althea.”
