We had a wonderful stay at this property! As travellers, our biggest priority is a clean and aesthetic property and this house was just that. It was warm, cozy and absolutely perfect for us. The small garden was a cherry on the top, absolutely beautiful. We were also impressed by the amenities provided at the apartment .The hosts were really responsive and provided everything we needed and made our stay at Salzburg a really memorable one. Highly recommend the stay at Tanja and Alexander's place for anyone coming to Salzburg

The stay with Margarete was very pleasant. She is a kind and helpful host. The accommodation is lovingly decorated and very clean. Only a freezer compartment and some kitchen appliances (peeler, grater, scissors) were missing. Overall, however, it was super nice and highly recommended. :)

The place was very nice. It was a little warm, but there were also two fans. The furnishings were great. Everything was clean. Nothing was missing. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. We traveled a lot and it was always pleasant to come back to the accommodation. Very cozy.

We all love the house very much. Just that was told washer broke down. Lots of clothes to wash as already travel a week in Germany. Actually we were offered clothes to be wash and dry by cleaner lady but didn’t deliver. Temporary fix by pipe to drain outside. Spend my whole night doing the laundry.

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The surroundings and and scenery are truly spectacular. The house was beyond expectations. Very spacious and comfortable. I will stay here again when I return.

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

great host, great place to stay!

wow, what more can you say about this place. it is in the most beautiful location, hidden in the valley with wonderful views either side. Franz and family were lovely and accommodating, really helpful before arrival, and during my stay. I was working remotely for a few days, so did not get to enjoy the local bars and restaurants, but there was a very convenient large supermarket at the bottom of the road. Despite the wet weather, I went on runs and hikes in the area, crossing over the border into Germany, and the surroundings are beautiful. There also appears to be a very reasonable priced swimming pool nearby which i wish i was able to make the most of. Travel on the 180 bus from Salzburg Hbf was also very easy. Being able to enjoy the terrace come rain or sun made the whole stay very peaceful and enjoyable. there is a small kitchen to make some meals, the bedroom and living space is well equipped, and the private bathroom is also very good. Thanks very much to Franz and family!

We took a few days off. The place was very clean and well equipped, both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. From here you can explore the region, take a city trip to Salzburg or simply enjoy the idyll.

We would recommend this property. The location is perfect to get away from the busyness of the city and connect with nature. The apartment is located on a working farm. We enjoyed seeing the cows on the property. Keep in mind you definitely need a car to access the property since it’s at the end of a long private road. The apartment presents as new. It is well equipped and very clean. The only downside is that it did not have a microwave. Thomas was a fantastic host, always available to answer questions and provided great recommendations. This apartment is below the residence, but you could not hear any noise. The scenery is absolutely stunning with a beautiful deck to enjoy the surroundings. It was the only accommodation on our trip that was completely dark at night, which we loved. The town has all the amenities, including restaurants and grocery stores.

We had a lovely few days at Kristin and Franz’s place. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully and comfortably furnished. As clearly outlined in the description, the cooking facilities are reminiscent of camping, but were fine for our needs, and there are supermarkets and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The house feels like a home, with books, games and DVDs - including, of course, The Sound of Music! The location is lovely, an easy half-hour walk into Salzburg centre along the river or accessible by public transport. The Salzburg Guest Mobility Pass was also great as it means that public transport in the area is free of charge. Staying in a neighbourhood with traditional housing styles, lovely green spaces and quiet roads also made a pleasant change from staying in the city centre. Franz was a great host, meeting us on arrival, and keeping in touch throughout our stay, updating us with helpful information. Salzburg itself is a wonderful place to visit!

This Airbnb was wonderful for my friends and I! Very clean, and easy walk to restaurants and bus station. Would definitely stay here again. I also felt very safe here as a female traveler. Holger was very good at communicating and helped us with many things. He was a very attentive host and great at communication. Would definitely book again.

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

Evelyn was very receptive with all communications prior to our arrival. She provided very detailed instructions on the self check-in process, which went very smoothly. The apartment has all the required amenities, was clean and spacious. Its location provides easy access to the Salzburg Castle, the city itself, shops, supermarkets restaurants, etc. We stayed for two days and the cost was extremely competitive when compared to other accommodation places. We also had three bicycles which we were able to store securely in the seller for the duration of our day. I would have liked to have met Evelyn in person, but I understand that people may wish to keep their business separate from their private lives. I have no complaints whatsoever about our stay at this accommodation.

The apartment is idyllically located in a top condition and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the Traunstein. It is about 45 minutes on foot to the nearest town and about 20 minutes to the nearest swimming area. If you want to be flexible, a car is recommended or for sporty people bicycles or e-bikes. In the apartment you can relax well, enjoy the beautiful view and tranquility and relax well. Your hostess is very sweet and relaxed and can give you good tips for activities. We had a lovely week at Susanne's

Great place and amazing view of the Austrian mountains.

We had a very nice short trip at Elisabeth's. The place is in a beautiful setting and we would have liked to have stayed longer to see more. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. We'd love to come back. :)

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This apartment was spacious and within 20 minutes walk of historic Salzburg. A bus stop is conveniently located across the street. We appreciated Gregor’s responsiveness to our questions. We had the opportunity to meet his parents and found them to be lovely people. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and coffee. We would stay here again!
