We were very happy with our choice to stay at Amber’s! Cute, clean, and cozy. It worked well for our needs traveling with kids. The kids enjoyed the park right across the street and it was easy to get takeout from downtown Royal Oak! Amber was an excellent host. Thank you Amber!

House is located in a quiet neighborhood, lots of space, adequate parking and had all the amenities we needed! Host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and will book again for future stays!

Excellent host and house. Lot’s of nice touches like bedroom ceiling lights with built in fans, end tables with chargers, and wall mounted magnetic tic tac toe. Pool table and hot tub make it a fun stay. We did a bunch of activities in and around Detroit and Ferndale and this Airbnb is right in the middle of it. 10 min to so many things. The area is very rundown which can be jarring if you’re not familiar with Detroit. I brought 4 Idahoans with me and they didn’t want to get out of the car. But once we got inside everyone felt safe and comfortable and we had an excellent, problem-free 3 day stay here.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—if not better. The attention to detail was evident throughout the home, and everything we needed was provided. The back room was a true highlight with the sauna and hot tub—such a relaxing treat after long days. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

Quiera’s place was beautiful! The apartment was very clean and the area was very quiet. A very nice place to stay in royal oak!

We loved Kelsey's place. Unlike some airbnb's, which are obvious remodels where no one has ever actually lived, this apartment was the real thing, cozy and liveable, with high ceilings, a real kitchen, and a full bathroom. The neighborhood is practically on Wayne State campus, so it has all the plusses and minuses of an active student population. Very convenient access to restaurants and culture. We would definitely stay here again. After we checked out, my wife discovered she had left her favorite coat behind. Kelsey went above and beyond to help us with that. Thank you, Kelsey!

Location was great! Quiet street but short walking distance to great bars and restaurants. Super clean and well stocked! Slight hiccup with the door code when checking in but hosts were super responsive and it was a total non-issue! Would stay again!

Had a wonderful stay here. They had a lovely garden with tons of space but also just a stone throws away from the city. Bree and Kevin were very friendly and helped with recommendations. Kevin greeted us on arrival and Bree checked in with us during our stay and in departure. The space was very unique, older home but clean and charming. We had more than enough room for the three of us (two adults and a teen). Thank you for having us and will keep this in mind next time we are visiting Detroit!

Had a great stay, the place was cozy, very clean and exactly as described. The kitchen had everything I needed. It was quiet, but also close to some great restaurants and supermarkets. Check-in was very easy. Couch and bed were both very comfortable! I would definitely stay there again.

Convenient arrival with secure gated parking and elevator up to the penthouse. Gorgeous interior, well appointed. Beautiful views of the skyline and local artistic murals. Fully stocked kitchen with high end finish and everything you would need to cook a meal. Plenty of closet space with hangers provided, dresser, washer/dryer and consumables. Amazing jet tub and showers, bonus steam sauna. Absolutely luxe- would not hesitate to book again, hoping to be back in the area for another stay.

Oh my where do I start!? Was such a glamorous place,so clean and just perfect. Every time you look somewhere else you see something so beautiful wether its the pictures or sparkles in the dressers and lamps. She responds very quickly and great communication. Will for sure return. 🩷🦩

I think that Mark is a great host. He was able to help in a time of dire need. Very responsive with clear instructions would definitely recommend. Home nice and clean very nicely furnished felt just like home.

I stayed here while visiting Detroit for a funeral. The house was very nice and clean. The host was very responsive and friendly. I would recommend this place 10/10 if you’re looking for a safe and convenient place to stay that’s not too far from the city of Detroit.

Perfect place for a girls weekend! So close to tons of great restaurants and professional sports complexes. Parking was only a tiny bit tricky because half the street was blocked off for construction and there were pistons games and/or concerts in the area both nights we were there so pickins were slim on our block, but lots of availability not too far away! The building is old and beautiful, the residents (and their dogs) were so friendly, and the area is really coming back to life! We would definitely stay here again—especially if we had tickets to a game!

Nice central location with easy street parking. A quick walk to DIA; we drove everywhere else. Space was bigger than we expected from the photos. Great kitchen!

We enjoyed our short stay and Michelle was beyond accommodating!!! Responsive and just care were superb. I really appreciate for coming in clutch for us.
