Lovely stay. Cosy place with a warm and friendly feel. Very close to Sherwood Forest. Nice village with pub food. Would certainly stay again.

We had a wonderful Easter holiday at the cottage. It was spotless inside and out, with one of the best-maintained gardens we’ve ever seen. The bedroom was spacious, communication was excellent, and we appreciated the fresh flower bouquet, well-stocked essentials, and delicious homemade cakes. The tasteful selection of books and DVDs, helpful direction advice and local tips, and clear instructions on display made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

‘Woodside’ is absolutely perfect for anyone that is looking for a complete and utter relaxation getaway. Away from all the city noise and lights, away from the hustle and bustle of the normal everyday routine. Waking up in the morning, taking a step outside and hearing nothing but the sounds of pure nature is bliss; birds chirping, bees buzzing, crows cawing. Not a single man-made sound can be heard. Not only are the sounds incredible, but the 360 degree views of the beautiful British countryside all around ‘Woodside’ are stunning. The location of the property is perfect. No noisy neighbours, your own secluded area, you feel like it’s your own little countryside paradise. Inside ‘Woodside’ is just as good. Every little detail in the place has been thought about to perfection. Everything has such a high quality feel to it. We didn’t think we’d be interested in bird watching until we picked up the binoculars left in the living room, we barely put them down! We will be back!
