We had a fantastic stay at Kakurekura guesthouse! Junya is an incredibly kind and thoughtful host—he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He picked us up from the train station when we arrived and even drove us back when we checked out. He also helped us carry all our grocery bags to the guesthouse and gave us a much-needed ride back after an exhausting bike ride. The guesthouse itself is a charming, cozy cabin, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. It was the perfect place to unwind and disconnect in a peaceful rural setting. We loved cooking our own meals and enjoying the tranquility of the area. A special touch was the adorable origami made by Junya’s 9-year-old daughter—we especially loved the Argentinian tsuru! If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming stay in Nagahama, this is the place. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful and warm stay at Haruya Guesthouse. Something about this little house in a peaceful valley, their kindness as a family, is very moving and impactful. Even now back in my home country, I think of our time there. We took dinner with Harafumi and Yumi and their family one of the nights, and we highly recommend it if there is the opportunity. The food is delicious and their company very interesting and warm. It was also Hinamatsuri Festival when we were there, so we were lucky to get to meet some others from nearby villages and share in some festivities. It gave us a peek into community and life in the mountain village and this place is very special! We loved going for walks with Lily and seeing Tora enjoying her time outside. Thank you for your kindness and for sharing this magical place with us. We look forward to staying again.

I had a fantastic time during my stay here! The location is superb, especially for those who love driving. The accommodation itself is charming and very comfortable. The environment of the guesthouse is really nice and peaceful. It feels like a home away from home. One of the best parts is that they are pet-friendly. I was able to bring my dog along, and both of us had a great time. There are open spaces around the guesthouse where my dog could run around and play safely, which was perfect for us. There are shops nearby where you can easily buy groceries, snacks, and daily necessities. It's also conveniently close to several popular attractions, making it easy to plan day trips without spending too much time on the road.

We had a very pleasant time.It was clean, well equipped, and I was able to relax in nature.There were also many types of board games, which I enjoyed. I would definitely use it again! Thank you!
