Monthly Rentals in Waihola

We are a family of 4 and we stayed at The Bach for 2 nights. We enjoyed it so much we'll likely return here next time. The house is very well equipped and even has a really nice Webber grill! There are lots of games to keep kids entertained. The kitchen and the bedrooms and the living room are all modern and cozy. The bathrooms are very clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable (we like mattresses with moderately firmness, which they are). The house is only a 15-minutes drive from Central Dunedin and is located in a very peaceful and quiet area. Stan is also a great host who respond quickly to your questions. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the Bach.

I really appreciated the host putting so much love and attention into the house. It really was perfect! After traveling the whole world, this is by far one the most beautiful beaches I have seen. You can see the sea lions from the bedroom window and on a short walk I saw a penguin. While there are little houses next to the property, the neighbors are seldom there. I stayed for a month and saw people maybe two or three times. The rest of the time it felt extremely private. The house is about 25min drive on an unpaved road from Milton. A super tiny town. So if you want to get away, this is the place. What a hidden gem! Super recommended.

Carlees’s place was absolutely fantastic. She knew we were traveling with our 8yo daughter and invited her to feed the sheep with them. It was a fantastic experience. Her home was warm and inviting, and everything from the fresh bread and honey to the amazing views was perfect. They even recommended a local Indian takeaway that was very good. I would definitely stay here again when we return to NZ.

WOW, what a beautiful, peaceful place. We have stayed at some really great Airbnb’s in NZ but this is our favorite so far. Absolutely stunning scenery, sense of privacy & peacefulness. What a magical 4 nights, thanks so much.
