It was an amazing place—cozy, comfortable, and extremely clean, with all the essentials you might need. We really enjoyed the outdoor area as well, including the barbecue zone and the year-round pool. The house is within walking distance of thermal hotels, pools, cafés, and restaurants. El lugar es lo que promete: silencio, tranquilidad y paz. Si es verdad que es complicado llegar, pero con las indicaciones de Pedro es fácil. La paz y la tranquilidad son las caracteristicas que se me ocurren para describir tanto la casa como el pueblo. El hecho de tener piscina es un plus...y con un poquito más, la playa de Aveiro está más o menos accesible. En resumidas cuentas, muy recomendable si se busca una experiencia rural y llena de paz y tranquilidad.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a bit chilly when we came in November, but the fireplace was cozy. They also provided great recommendations on googlemaps for restaurants, hiking, and sightseeing. We fell in love with the mountains of Portugal!

La casa es un 10, tienes de todo lo que puedes imaginar y querer cuando estas de vacaciones. Ubicacion perfecta ya que estas cerca de todas las grandes cuudades del norte del pais. Por poner un pero el sofa no es lo mas comodo del mundo pero es bueno y suficiente para estar 2 personas sentadas.

We booked Quinta do Pedregal for a small family gathering. The facilities were perfect for us. The dining room, barbeque area and game room provided entertainment for everyone at all times. Hugo was very friendly and flexible to our arrival and departure times. During the check in, the information shared about the facilities operation was concise and spot on. All the family had a great time, and we'll definitely consider it for future gatherings. The refurbishment work performed by the owning family as well as the collection of old farm and household items is nothing short of impressive!

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Adorámos o espaço do Gustavo! No meio da natureza e super calmo, ótimo para quem quer descansar da vida ativa da cidade! A Luna (pastor alemã do host) é super querida e fez-nos muita companhia! O Gustavo sempre disponível para nos ajudar com recomendações de restaurantes e o que fazer na nossa estadia! Espaço arrumado e muito bem cuidado! Recomendamos muito!

Foi uma estadia de pouca duração, mas gostei imenso da aldeia onde esta o alujamento do sr. Pedro. Foi muito amavel e sempre disponivel e prestavel para algo que fosse necessario. Uma experiência a ser repatida sem duvida. Casa recuperada muito agradável e acolhedora, com uma vista deslumbrante.

Alojamiento muy recomendable - Casa muy amplia , como se describe: en la zona inferior salón y cocina muy amplios , 2 dormitorios de matrimonio y baño completo muy grande . En planta superior , (abuhardillada pero en zona donde no están las estancias ) 2 dormitorios de matrimonio y un baño también muy cómodo La vida se hace abajo que es donde está más acogedor , está el salón y lacocina y es más grande Había de todo lo necesario , gel baño , champú , lavavajillas , jabón lavaplatos … además de dejarnos bastantes cápsulas para café y varias cosas más - Los dueños muy pendientes en todo momento y muy amables - limpieza muy buena , duchas muy limpias con buena presión de agua y buenos desagües - localizacion muy tranquila , pueblo pequeño como a 10 mn de un bar cercano en coche bajando una colina. El pueblo muy bien para pasear , hacer rutas … y para ir a visitar otras zonas : 1 hora aprox a Coímbra y a aveiro y un poco más al puente Arouca

Rita's place (we called it the "Stone House") is absolutely beautiful and superbly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and has a great espresso machine all setup for your use! It is very close (by car) to many nearby towns with lots of restaurants and interesting sights. It served as the perfect "basecamp" for our party of four, while exploring the nearby area. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Rita's place and would have loved to stay much longer!
