Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Vouzela

Fantastic place - probably one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in. Very friendly reception, always on hand if we needed anything. Beautiful, spacious house - spotlessly clean - everything worked! We were so comfortable there. Lovely balcony to watch the sunsets and lovely pool too. Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, grill, oven , hob, cleaning products - its' all here. You do need a car to explore the local surroundings and the nearest supermarket is 25 mins away by car. We visited the towns of Braga, Porto, Coimbra, Viseu, Aviero and Agueda - all very worthwhile. We also took a trip to the nearby (15mins drive) car museum at Caramulo. If you fancy striding it out a bit, drive a little further to Caramulinho, park up and there is a 2-3 hour trail walk up through the hills. Thank you very much to the hosts - a wonderful holiday had by all ! :)

Ricardo and his wife always cared for me well and the communication flowed very well. The house has a good heating system, at the time we were was important. The house is very spacious both inside and outside. Very practical and comfortable. We'll be back next year.

My room had a balcony overlooking the square. Good location and everything was clean when we arrived.

Great location. Easy onsite parking. Comfortable, relaxed, quiet apartment with a beautiful view of the cathedral from the balcony. Guilherme was the perfect host. Responsive to any question. He went above and beyond to make our stay extra special and memorable. We loved the area and will definitely stay at Guilherme’s unit again when we next visit Viseu.

The apartment is really nice and cozy. It’s never warm inside during the summer heat. And if it’s warm, there’s a good working air conditioner inside. Everything was really clean and looking modern. Bathroom was really neat. Fresh towels were provided in good quantities. Also the tenant was kind enough and went out of his way to welcome me with some delicious local sweets, which is a really kind gesture. All in all it was really worth it. Also because the location is situated perfectly. It’s right in the heart of the old town. There’s restaurants, bars, supermarkets and even a laundry really close by. I enjoyed my stay quite well in his apartment. Thankyou very much.

Apartment in a very good location and in a quiet area. Very spacious living room and comfortable beds. It had everything we could need in the kitchen as well as in the rooms. 10 minutes away we had a supermarket and the bus station. The super friendly and very attentive host, a 10 for her.

We had a fantastic stay. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful pool. The air conditioning was also most welcome in August. The scenery is breathtaking but you definitely need a car to stay here, it is quite remote. We did day trips to Porto and Averio and the children enjoyed the local river beach (Praia Fluvial Burgães), we also spent a day at the seaside (Leça da Palmeira). I would recommend all of these! The apartment would have just benefited from a couple of wine glasses! Thank you for a brilliant holiday.
