A wonderful place in a great neighbourhood with an accommodating and responsive host. The house is well kitted with everything you may need for an extended stay. Great instructions and recommendations from the host made our stay seamless and worry-free. Good value for money.

What a hidden gem! This beautiful and serene retreat was exactly what we needed for our quiet weekend getaway. The neighborhood is wonderfully tranquil, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Our host was exceptionally responsive, proactive, and genuinely helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The architectural and interior design of the space is thoughtfully crafted and modern—truly stunning! It exceeded our expectations, and I dare say it looks even better in person than in the photos. We were particularly grateful for our host’s kindness in allowing us a leisurely morning and late check-out on our final day. It was a lovely way to savour our last moments at this delightful place. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to return in the future. Highly recommend this lovely spot and its gracious host!

They have such a kind and soulful energy that extends beyond the average host and to top it all off, Alan who is always on the ball and ready to help out and have a great conversation when needed. The house is a splendid mix of industrial minimalist design and chic upcycled materials. It is at once striking and cozy. The property is well taken care of and filled with plants that soften the otherwise harder edges of the aesthetic. I can’t recommend this place enough. We loved staying here and are planning to stay again.

My best friends and I stayed in Paula's beautiful house over the weekend. It is perfectly situated, easy to access and clean. Paula was a fantastic host. We would love to be back soon.

Lisa's poolside cottage detached from the main house was perfect for us in Johannesburg. The property is extremely secured, with easy in and out access. The grounds we peaceful and tranquil, with a lovely pool even though it was a little chilly for a swim. This cottage was perfect for us, as we are dog people! Her lovely pups would greet us in the morning! The flat was very comfortable, with lots of light and privacy. The amenities described are very accurate. The flat is located in the Melville area, which is decently safe. You do need to take care after dark. In the neighborhood, there is private security in the Melville restaurant area. Uber is quite inexpensive. Thank you Lisa for your hospitality, you are a fantastic host, so warm and have great energy!! Please give Seymour and Lavinia cuddles from us!!! # 2touristsontherun
